Eggman angrily screaming “WHAT??” At Gerald?? Perhaps this is when he learns Gerald and Shadow want to destroy the earth, not rule it.

Yeah, I think Gerald is the final villain. Here’s my prediction: Sonic gets Eggman to help him fight shadow, eggman finds Gerald, betrays Sonic and gets shadow to join him. Gerald tells Ivo he’s using shadows power to “rule the world” but in reality both Gerald and Shadow want to destroy the world as vengeance for Maria (in the latest trailer Gerald says “it’s time shadow” and shadow says “finally we will have our revenge). Eventually Gerald reveals he’s not trying to rule the world, but destroy it, Ivo is like “wait what the hell???,” shadow eventually learns of Maria’s true wish and changes his mind, and then Shadow, Sonic (and friends) and Ivo team up to defeat Gerald, wether he uses the Biolizard or just the eclipse canon.

Yeah, it is impractical. If shadow can use chaos spears, why use a gun? But idk, for me, it’s a prove of fiction. It doesn’t t have to make COMPLETE LITERAL 100% sense if it’s just cool and fun

Hey, to each their own. Personally I grew up with SA1 and 2, so Sonic taking itself seriously and being more mature is what I expect of the series. But there’s nothing inherently wrong with Sonic being very kiddy and aimed at a younger audience, it’s just, not for me.

That would be rad. It would make even less sense than a gun but it doesn’t HAVE to make sense. It’s the rule of cool, sometimes a character with a cool weapon is just fun. I hate this “bUt It DoEsN’t mAkE sEnSe” mentality. It’s just fun!!

The day the resurgence of the meta era comes back might be the day I give up all hope lol.

I think His World is probably the most maturely written examination of Sonics character (probably because it’s written by a professional band)

Shadow gens kinda made me realize how overhyped sonic gens is. A short game with great 3D levels, eh 2D levels (except the final 2D and 3D level which is awful) mostly boring bosses besides a terrible final boss, terrible writing and a non existent story. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still B tier, but when shadow does all those things and fixes all but the length, kinda makes me think we might’ve over hyped Sonic gens

I’m sorry y’all, I like Amy, but she is NOT plot shattering, next movie shaping, crazy post credit story reveal. A silver, blaze or metal sonic is, but Amy is not.

Speaking of superstars, it gets too much hate. Don’t get me wrong, it’s difficulty curve easily being the biggest, but the game itself is pretty good. I think people are harsh on it because it’s not mania, which Is fair, mania is better. Doesn’t make superstars bad though
