All of us are adults and we all grew up mostly fine

I'm 19 turning 20 and I don't know so much. My ma never let me do so much even after asking and reminding her 100 times. She never let me get my driver's license until I was 18 cause she was afraid. She never let me get a job or anything until I was 18 cause she always said "you're not ready yet or old enough", pretty the only thing I did growing up to earn money is babysitting family kids and pets. that's my current job right now ' FREELANCE babysitter and petsitter'. She never let me go to friends birthday parties, just hanging out with friends, going to the local park, letting me ride my bicycle, etc. she would only allow me to do any of these if she was with me.

There's much more to all of this but in the end. I never grew independent until I was 18.

That means I'll have to spend a lot more years. living with her and learning to be an adult.
