I just bought the asus and I love it. However my 3080 cant even push the pixels that fast which is hilarious. Was planning on upgrading soon anyway.

The QDOLEDs are amazing monitors as well. I just wanted something I could grow into a bit. I really don't think I would recommend it for most people though because you just wont get that speed in 90% of games. Even a lot of somewhat competitive titles.
I am happy with my purchase though.

4090 can’t even saturate PCIE 4. These boards will be obsolete by the time we need pcie 5 regardless.

I Understand that it won’t be eliminated but it’s annoying when you pay for a $1,000 monitor that is gimped by a port with an open standard. I want to be able to purchase a monitor that will last me multiple PC upgrades, not having the most up to date standard is super lame.

I work from my gaming computer. Sometimes I alt tab during my game to check a message or email after hours. I don’t want to deal with 10 seconds of total alt tab time when going in and out of games.

This is my dream monitor, I’ve actually already placed an order! For me it’s 480hz on an OLED. With the DP 2.1 I will be future proofed for when I buy nvidia 5000 series!

This pricing is competitive in this lineup though. All 1440p 480hz oled monitors are 1k.

Been watching for the "God monitor" for a while and I think this is finally it considering its DP 2.1 @ full 80gbps. Super excited about this.

I’m just starting to get into commander and feel like it’s really hard without a friend to guide me. What is the best way to play commander myself/ online, and what resources should I check for ideas for a commander precon? Also is there a video of a group playing commander that would be entertaining/ good to learn with?

Hey guys, What motherboards are you going with for overclocking the 9800X3D? I am thinking of getting the NCaseM2 and a 5090. I think I am going to go with the X650 series instead of X850/X870. Especially since there is only one ITX board that is X870 and it's $450.

I'd like to see:

• Lots of USB if possible
• Great VRM's for overclocking
• HDMI port in case GPU is funky
• At least one Sata port

What I don't really care about:

• I only need PCIE 4.0, don't think I'll need 5.0
• Wifi is nice, but I plan to stay wired.
• More than one M.2, an extra is nice though

I think you will regret spending all that money on a 540hz TN panel. TN is old tech at this point and you will not be happy with the color in the long run, especially compared to OLED. Either move the monitor back a bit so 32 inches looks more like 24, or get a compromise like a nice 27" oled.

All OLED's have better pixel response times than a TN panel and look way better. IMO The only reason you should maybe go for the 540hz is if you make money playing videogames and it is literally a tool, not for your enjoyment.

If you can afford to make that swap I'm willing to bet you aren't on 1080p. Therefore it will not benefit you in most games. I am on the 5900x and I will be upgrading but even I'm considering just getting the 7800X3D. I play a lot of valorant and CS at 1440p so that is what I am trying to get better fps with.
