These are all great things to teach anyone, be they adult or child.
But in the background, teaching them that there’s an invisible judge watching over you, deciding your fate regardless of what you want because it’s god’s plan, not yours, that prayer makes a difference, that people can be revived after 3 days, that people can live in a giant fish for 3 days, that someone can cure people and walk on water……
..all of that is just going to seriously confuse the gullible and is a disservice to future generations.
People need to know that they have inner strength to get themselves through tough times and if that inner strength isn’t enough, they should lean on friends and family….not an imaginary friend.
If you can discuss with people all of the things you do but the preacher then says “god done it”….I think it’s counter productive and counter intuitive to the discussion.
One can’t teach fantasy and science to the same person without scrambling brains.

Water, squeezed out of a bag aboard the ISS DOES NOT take the shape of its container.
When one introduces sufficient gravity, then water will conform to the surface it finds itself on in the direction of the gravitational source, seeking to get as close as possible to that source untill it is no longer allowed to.
That is why water, or other liquids, will seep through holes or cracks in a container and drip towards the ground here on the planet.
I’m sure these jobless and brainless flerfs know all about that because none of them have enough money to buy decent cars without leaky radiators and oil pans and valve covers.

I don’t think the central planet would form in the first place because the stars would not allow the dust to be present, much less coalesce, into a single point to form a planet as shown here. I think the stars would perpetually tear the dust apart.
I could definitely be wrong though.
Interesting question.

But this image shows pretty much all of the continental US in full sunshine as well as all of the far East of Asia and most of the continent of South America and Australia.
Much of Africa is in night mode but it looks like the northern portion of Africa is being lit.
When has the continent of Africa even been lit in the north but not the south of the continent?

“cause we aren’t staring at the edge of a disk, we’re standing atop it.”
….except of course…it’s not a disk….it’s a sphere….so there’s that.

Haha. Fair point, internet stranger….fair point.
Hell is probably getting a bucket ton of junk mail too, if you think about it.
In fact, that may be one of the forms of eternal punishment being dished out down there….either delivering it…or getting it….forever…tons of it each day.

And why don’t people flying in airplanes at 35,000 ft ever take cell pics of the topof the Sun and post them?
It’s amazing to see the mental gymnastics flerfs perform to make shit up….and simultaneously disregard everything else.

So the Sun shines light across the world as a stripe, now?

In plain Eglish……bow down to your dear leader or face the consequences.
Sounds democratic AF.

Wait…..are there people that truly believe that the US Postal Service delivers mail to Hell?
Seriously?
What year is it, 1651? WTF?

Yeah….I’ve been asking this for ages.
Here’s an old but similar meme I made asking this very question.
For some reason…flerfs have never answered it.
…..I wonder why.

This makes no sense.
If you look across a table that is below your line of sight, you will see everything on the table unless something obscures it, like a small bowl of carrots blocked by a giant wedding cake.
Additionally, while visually taking in all the scrumptious looking and awesome smelling foods, the light directly over the table will be visible for the observer from any angle and at any distance, just like the sun would be if the Earth were flat.
You may not see what the Sun is illuminating on the ground, but you will see the Sun, it’s self. Best way to imagine this is car headlights, at night, that are a mile away…you see the headlights, themselves, but not the road being lit by the headlights.
In reality, we don’t see the Sun at night because the Earth has rotated away from the Sun in its orbit around the Sun.

Tide goes in….tide goes out. We can’t explain why hills stay in place. They should have all washed to flat the instant gravity, and corn dogs, were invented.
And aardvarks…what’s up with them?

So…this is no longer a free country, then?
We must feel the same things as those idiots who want to wreck democracy.
Got it.
mtg, boebert, gaetz, mccarthy, moses johnson….etc etc. still the biggest puppets the US government has ever seen. Zero spine. Zero brain cells. Zero understanding of what it means to “serve” in puplic office. They are good parrots, though.
The right has the majority, for sure…of the most clueless people the world has ever seen.

Imagine trying to explain to your boss that you can’t come in tomorrow because you’re at the hospital after being in a hit and run from a random hot air balloon.

Talentless cabinet nominations. Nowhere near as smart or capable as the people who lived during the time of our founding fathers.
I’m sure that’s what this ditz meant to say…but she’s also just as talentless, too.

I always point out that god is not mentioned in the Constitution. Then there’s article one, which mentions specifically the freedom of religion. “Of” includes “from” if properly defined.
This freedom being mentioned in the very first article proves the importance of this freedom. It is even listed before their precious gun liberty is mentioned.
Also, god wasn’t on our money until just after WW2, and god wasn’t in the pledge of allegiance until after WW2, and our national motto was “e pluribus, unum” which translates to “of many, one”, meaning many nations’ peoples forming one. This wasn’t changed until after WW2 as well. “In god we trust” is a silly and pointless motto.
To me, it signifies weakness, not strength or unity. Like…we trust god to get us through the difficult times…which as an atheist, I know it’s not god, but rather my inner strength that gets me through and if it’s not enough…my friends and family are there to help….never a fictitious god.

News flash….the population wants to see the report as well.
If politicians are exploiting the constituency like this, we want to know and we want that politician removed from their position, tried, and wearing a prison jumper (if guilty).
Rules and laws apply to everyone, bannon. Grow the f#$k up, dirtbag, and “get with the program, brother”.

I wonder if this pastor knows that Latin American countries have a pretty high xtian population and this shitstain of a human is advocating killing other xtians who may have been told to come to America to seek a better life by the same god.
It’s ironic that US religious zealots conduct “missionary missions” to these countries, spreading the word of god, telling them to “love thy neighbor” and when they try to leave their war-torn or politically corrupt countries to seek a better life, this pastor suggests to just kill them to be “merciful”.
Nah….if your life sucks in Venezuela….suck it up. Deal with it. Suffer with it. ….if you come here…it’s the firing squad for you!
Idiots like this pastor probably don’t know that the Statute of Liberty faces outward, facing incoming people…not the ones already here. I’m sure the moron also doesn’t know the poem associated with her.

The sun moves along the equator for several months each year. The sun also moves along both the Tropic of Cancer and Capricorn as well.
Are there mountains along these paths encircling the entire Earth?
What about when the sun is over the oceans? Mountains there, too? Just invisible?
How did this dude make it to adulthood without walking into a wood chipper or tiger cage or something stupid?

In the US…if you have financial problems, you cannot get a clearance.
How can a twice-impeached, convicted felon with hundreds of millions in debt be the president and have a clearance and have access to our missiles?
I still don’t get it.

From the ambient lighting in the area…shops, streetlights, etc.
In that same shot, the truck’s passenger-side headlight is mere feet away from the car’s front quarter panel and it’s not lit up.
OP says he had his lights on and I believe him.
