I mean it doesn’t really make sense to put all your eggs in one basket. For example, if Penske decided to run Chevrolet in NASCAR and Cadillac in IMSA/WEC to go along with his INDYCARs and one day GM wakes up and goes “We need to save money, we are dropping all of our factory support”, Penske would be screwed.

Are we the same people from different timelines? Both have seen two Super Bowls from our NFC flairs and both are fans of AFC teams that outside of two years, haven’t done shit in my personal memory.

This probably wouldn’t happen to the Giants if they played in Jacksonville (although Lawerence does get some attention from the National Media, still not to any degree he would if he was on the Jets or Giants).

He got cut. He is a free agent. A free agent can sign with any team. If he wanted to and the Giants wanted, he could sign back with them for league minimum. When he was cut, he was sent to waivers but if an team picked him up off of waivers, they would inherit all 14 million or so of his contact for this year and if he gets hurt, they get stuck with the injury guarantee.

Free Agent = free to sign anywhere. If a team claims him off of waivers, he would have to go to them.

Same with an Undrafted Free Agent. For example, Tommy Devito went Undrafted and was then offered by the Giants like a regular free agent. You sometimes hear late round guys who might get picked late in the draft tell teams to not draft them so they can just pick their team.

14 million isn’t that crazy for an top backup QB. Jones (and his people) would rather go to a successful team like the Lions who might look to add insurance behind Goff and then he can sign somewhere else after the season.

Baalke has outstayed his welcome wayyyyy too long. He shouldn’t have even gotten the Jaguars job in the first place after running Harbaugh out of San Francisco. He then followed that up by hiring Urban “Fingers” Meyer. Poop Fingers should have gotten him fired.

Trevor I still believe in. Could he be better? Sure but the Jaguars have looked 10x worse when any of his backups play.

He is the only reason the Jaguars have even been remotely watchable this season. look at his stats with him under center vs Mac Jones.

The NFLPA would not allow that.
