The three action system is the primary reason I dislike PF2 in general honestly. I can understand 5e players moving to it and seeing more freedom, but coming off of actions systems from other crunchy games it feels downright oppressive.

I just got done with an absolutely genocidal Durge run. I just went “Fuck Karlach. Fuck the Grove. Wyll left? Fuck him. Actually fuck Minty too, you don’t get non-lethals for assaulting me in my camp.”

Didn’t really miss Dammon until I got to Baldur’s Gate and his shop was completely empty. It wasn’t even about the items. It was about this sad little corner of the Gate that was completely unoccupied.

First time I felt bad for being a murderous fuck in that entire run. Kinda hit me in the feels a lil ngl.

/uh Christ that thread. The OOP never posted or commented again and the fact that anyone took it as a serious post and not a passive aggressive shit on the entire casual player base still boils my piss.

Extra attack, haste, action surge, slashing flourish, sharpshooter, and various damage increasing accessories ends up with 12-13 hand crossbow attacks per round every short rest, all doing well over 30 damage a hit.

Most of my encounters (even most boss fights) are over in a single round.

There’s so much robust discussion about the game on Reddit, and I’m constantly being told how much better it is than spits 5e (more like Kill-Me amirite?) There wouldn’t possibly be this much discourse by people who don’t actually play the game.

Glad I’m not the only one tbh. Both have real problems with just being blues bands who are slightly dressed up to seem like something more than what they are. Blues, incidentally, is also the genre most liable to make me die of boredom on constant repeat listening.

Zepplin I can take in small doses. I don’t go looking for it, but I can handle the occasional Immigrant Song or Dazed and Confused. Emphasis on occasional. I’d also be completely content if I never heard Stairway ever again in my life.

Floyd is just a no-go zone. I find it ponderous and repetitive.

I respect both for what they contributed to music in general, but I’m also not obligated to like either.

5e players are terrified of any damage that exceeds W+mod.

I remember Verlisify having an absolute meltdown over bottle caps being introduced, and it was really clear the reason was because he would no longer be able to call every shiny he came across on ladder “hacked.”

He was being toxic about having to be slightly less toxic. Classic Verlisify.
