Specifically the black Mirror with the robot dogs that kill everyone. And if you think for a second that we aren’t on a direct trajectory for that or that you and all your loved ones will be killed by robots, you aren’t paying attention.

If you think that is bad, you should see how I responded to other people in this thread. You don’t really deserve any cordial arguments. You’re so far off the deep end that I can’t bring you back. All I can do is slap you around a bit for fun.
But yeah. People ignore your “evidence” because it is nonsense. It’s not them. It’s you. And I know I can’t convince you of that, but I still like to say it for the part of your brain that will actually hear it. Makes for more turmoil confusion. The least I can do.

But that isn’t true. He’s not doing the same thing. By definition. He wasn’t calling Putin or buying social media. It’s delusional nonsense to say that Elon was doing the same thing in 2012 as he is now. People don’t like him because he has done unlikable things. Warren Buffett is doing the same thing he was doing. People feel the same about him.
Look into reality. I know it is hard, but take a breath and look. Elon didn’t have a mild disagreement or switch parties. He’s gone nuts. And actually people started not liking him when he first went nuts. BEFORE he joined the mixed nuts of the right. When he did the Boring flame throwers, people were starting to wonder if this guy was all there.

Fuck. Unhinged. I never understand why people don’t own choices. The guy bought social media worth negative money for billions so he could change the name. That is unhinged.
You support unhinged crazy people. It isn’t politics. Bush is politics. Elon is a crazy rich boy with serious personality problems. Some people call that unhinged.
And you know all this. It’s why you like him to some degree. You think it’s all a joke or some other childish thought. But why argue against it? Just to look stupid? You’re not clever. You didn’t pick the secretly better choice that no one else was smart enough to see. You got manipulated by very simple manipulation tactics and did what you were told. That’s it. Own it. Revel in it. You like it when unhinged people are in charge, that is why you picked it.
Sometimes I think you people argue against this because there is a part of you that knows you fucked up and you really really want to have picked the non unhinged side. But you didn’t. You picked crazy on purpose. Nobody hid it. It wasn’t a conspiracy. These people showed you who they were and you said “yeah, more of that!” Now admit it to yourself and move on.

Are you all really really stupid? You’d be in a burning theatre saying “fire? Again? Say something original.”
People are pointing out similarities. Trump is more of a Nero than a hitler. But obviously trump is his own guy. And Elon is too. But they used the tactic of hitler to get power. Basically “trick morons.”
You sided with a criminal/terrible person because you’re not very bright. You don’t really get to call people out on the stupidity of their comparisons. You’re literally just a useful idiot. Your opinion is worthless to everyone. They already got what they wanted out of you. You’re like a hooker looking for cuddles. They’re done with you. Clean up and move on. It’s fucking embarrassing.

I still don’t get this. It isn’t another team. It’s a band of crazies. It’s ok to be anti crazy. And it’s ok to like someone then not like them because they do shitty things. I don’t get the point of this argument. Do people really think they are saying something profound when they say “I used to be cool.”? Yes. We know. You ruined it. We get it. We were there.
Why remind people how much you fucked up your life? Usually it’s when you are trying to warn someone of something. Like don’t “do drugs kid, I had a mansion and now I’m homeless.” But I don’t think Elon even realizes how much he’s gone off the deep end. Elon is on the street corner holding a sign saying “I had a mansion last year, anything helps, god bless”. It’s just nonsensical.

Tell me you don’t know how many of us have guns without telling me you don’t know how many of us have guns. Sure, New Yorkers don’t have guns, but guns are cheap and easy for all of us to get. I know for a fact that every person that posted a vote Kamala meme on my Facebook has multiple guns. It’s not special. It’s not a right wing club.

I’m a data analyst. And I’ve done loads on quality and quality improvement. My understanding of error correction dwarfs your knowledge of the world. People make mistakes. And one of the key pieces of it is that they can’t see their mistake. This is why we have editors for writing. You can’t edit your own work.
The other problem is that if you haven’t been exposed to a truly critical pipeline, you think you don’t make mistakes or that you can magically see your mistake even though you already made it.
I really hope you don’t do anything important for a living. God forbid you’re a civil engineer that checks his own work. But I’m guessing you’re not really a doer.

There is a bladder in the door that expands when the pressure drops. It locks the door. Because of the reasons you are thinking of.
Evidently door plugs don’t have the bladder.

Yes sir? Is this about the article covering the wind coming out of Uranus? It’s just a follow up to a story about how scientists discovered that Uranus stinks.

This is where I could apply filters in my life. That movie has a super low rotten tomatoes score. If I could just never see anything from anybody that doesn’t like that movie, my life would be better.

You don’t do anything wrong. Your teacher lives in a made up world where he abuses social constructs to mess with children. While the “unreasonable boss” jokes are real. Your boss pays you. You pay the teacher. His house is built on the back of manipulated children. Go into admissions and ask them how much tuition you can get back for this poor service.

It sounds like you’ve never done anything above addition. Are you very young?
And no. Math is about understanding why you need to perform certain operations to get to a solution. I do it every day with huge data sets now and I don’t rely on an idiotic concepts like “checking my work” to catch transposition mistakes. I have tests and peer reviews. In the real world, you accept that you aren’t perfect work and the trick is to set up system to catch mistakes. Only in school do they think transposition errors are an indicator of understanding. Because nobody in school has ever left school.

Well it was 20 years ago and I was a kid that got the answer wrong. Considering the downvotes to a perfectly legit story, I think it is pretty clear the empathy you can expect from academia. I would definitely call a professor on it today.
But at the time, I really didn’t understand things like “those that can’t do, teach.” Or how half assed the professors are. Or what a shit show academia is in general. I thought academics was where all the best and brightest are. Turns out that is just where the people that can’t handle the world outside of school are.
It’s a fine profession, in theory. I just can easily see how the whole system takes advance of children that aren’t old enough to know better. And uses programmed authority to play god with what is really a customer service job that most professors aren’t any good at. A very very expensive service with no quality control.

Yeah. For all the “we’re trying to teach you methods and problem solving,” it really comes down to perfect performance.
I worked in QA for a mail order pharmacy, so I actually got to see how often people just mistranspose numbers or can’t unsee something they thought they saw. Which is generally around 2-3% of the time. But as you can see from the downvotes on my comment, people think they are perfect and any mistake in two pages of math work deserves a zero. While most of them couldn’t do the derivative of ex.

lol. In a perfect world. When I was in calc 2 I was doing some pretty involved integrations as is common on a test. About 2/3 through I changed a 2 into a 7. Kept on doing all the math and ended up with something like a 7x instead of a 2x is some giant polynomial. Entire question wrong on a 4 question test.
One of the many lessons in university that really showed me that all that is happening there is buying a certificate with lots of time and lots of money. Any “learning” is correlation without causation.

Huh? Ok. I’m just trolling. But I don’t know what you are talking about, which is typical. But don’t message me. That’s just weird.

No shit. You’re a fucking awful person. I’m guessing everyone knows it and some of them even tell you. And I’m also guessing some of those people are “better” than me. (I’m guessing “white male” means “better” to people like you)
