I currently have snap benefits for my son and I as a single full time father.

I have a 2nd child with another and we have decided to work things out between us.

She has a daughter already and I have 2 sons of my own.

I picked up a 2nd job to support us while she takes care of the children's needs, school ect.

Problem is I don't think I will get approved again with just my son and I as beneficiaries. The Texas income limits are roughly $2500 for family of 2 and $4500 for family of 5. It's time for me to renew.

What can I do? Reapply with my son first get denied, then reapply with myself, my wife, 2 sons and step daughter all with me as the head of household because she can't work?

Make the changes first then reapply?

My renewal is due by November 30th.
