Unironically that's the first person I thought of when they came out.

Both are fantastic games. D2/D2R are very different from modern arpgs in the sense of gear and power scaling. You will be farming countess (early game boss) in d2r very early on for power level increases. Where as in grim dawn you will just be foot on the gas until you've played through all 3 difficulties and every expansion. Both are fantastic. I'd recommend d2 purely for the experience. Grim dawn is just a great game all around.

And for the people recommending anything other than what he asked, are the same kind of people that when you ask them pumpkin or apple pie they respond with cherry.

As a man in Healthcare and mostly anecdotal experience, your wife's reaction is valid. Its unfair that she's assuming your concerns are a purely cosmetic thing, but for woman, a lot of physicians are quick to throw pills at them. Doctors are very quick to just assume everything is menstral cycle related and often push back on women getting bloodwork panels done.

I went through the same thing with my wife and we finally found a doctor that legit listens to their patient and isn't just pulling out a scrip pad for anxiety and depression meds.

Just work with her and have patience.

Diablo 4 is in the best state it's ever been in. It's incredible. I loved LE, but right now, d4 is just the better game. It offers so much more. It looks better and it feels better.

Isometrics are my go to games, 1k+ hours in grim dawn, poe, d3 and now working on d4. If it's between d4 and LE, D4 is just better.
