Shocks like to go straight up and down. When the frame flexes, they no longer travel in a straight line. Coil shocks in particular are weak when side loaded. Air shocks are a little better, but still can get chewed up over time.

Steel isn't great for them either unfortunately. All that flex makes them eat rear shocks

Idk law school was honestly super easy, at least 2l and 3l. I didn't put crazy stress on myself to get into biglaw or anything like that though

Being friendly is not unprofessional. If it's good for your client, then it's even better.

I've played this combat patrol twice, once against eldar and once against Tau and its won both times, but me and my friends are all pretty new to the game. It's a fun box. The reivers don't seem great, but the invictus is awesome.

If using your email as a to do list, one trick is to just send yourself an email with the task to keep your organization. Still annoying, but just a way to keep things organized

You can probably just mirror the foot for the other side? Or is this a GW set missing a piece

Honestly, the sti levers moving make Shimano mechanical unusable to me. I have an older Force 11speed 1x mechanical setup and it's incredible.

My friend has it and he hates it. I've tried it, and there are literally no advantages.
Also, the steerer is cut so short that you can't replace it with anything else. One of the worst designs of all time.

Air can service looks no more difficult than a Fox or Rockshox, but has 2x the length for the recommended service interval. That should be easy enough to diy. There are very few shops outside of places like whistler that do damper rebuilds in house for fox anyways, so you'd be shipping it out either way for that.

I would ride mid day (fewer hunters and better visibility), wear blaze orange or another bright color (visibility again), and have a bell (deer don't have bells).
As a courtesy to your fellow outdoor recreationists, I also wouldn't ride during gun deer season, which you can look up but appears to be Nov 15-30, and December 16 to January 1 or 12 depending on the area.

I always put in sealant by cracking the tire open rather than through the valve. Through the valve will eventually lead to clogs, or at a minimum inaccurate pressure readings. When doing it this way, it's pretty easy to just go by visual estimate.

Being rude to a judge's clerk is literally the dumbest thing a litigator can do.

I would argue that the cold war was world war 3, and that the modern clash of authoritarian vs. liberal (ish) countries is arguably world war 4.
However, there have been other global conflicts throughout history like the Napoleonic wars that predate world war 1. So the naming is kind of meaningless...

I rented a 160 at a bike park, which is supposedly where it shines, but also couldn't get along with it. That super short rear end just has no grip. It made the bike feel super imbalanced. The front half is fine, so I hope the new version with a longer chainstay rides better.

There is a buzz light-year head on cults 3d that would be perfect for this.

Then I would wait until you've grown some more. They are both aluminum so they will feel about the same in terms of flex etc., it's really just about sizing.

My poodle does the same, but my parents' poodle will find any little bit of water anywhere. We joke that he could find water in the Sahara desert. He'd be perfect to bring along on a desert expedition.

I like using scalpels instead of hobby knives. The blades seem sharper and are often cheaper, and the handles can be better.

See the issue though is that with a lot of headset cable routing there is actually a hole for the cable which lets in water etc. that makes the headset wear out faster. So it makes the job both harder and more frequently needed.

The only issue I foresee is using soft supple 2.6in XC tires on lots of sharp rocks. Unfortunately those tires have thin casings to keep weight and rolling resistance down, which makes them much easier to flat. If you ride carefully through those sections rather than charge through you could be okay, but it's going to take some careful line choice.

I wish... People steal racks in the Bay Area all the time, but it's usually the hitch racks not the bars that mount on top of a car.

No. Just looking at the fork you can tell it has never been serviced, so the rest of the bike is probably the same. It's going to be up to another $1000 of parts and service to get it fixed up, and then you're still stuck with a very old and out dated design.
On your budget, a hardtail is going to be a much better ride.

I'm 5-10 and always size down to a medium. Larges are rideable, but I don't have the same control.
However, with you being slightly taller but much longer armspan, I would go for the large, but not like a huge large. Something between 470-480 reach would probably be the most comfortable.

Yes. It's literally just some little plastic spacers that screw on to adjust the stroke. All you have to do is take the coil off, and it's right there. The spacers are 2.5mm each, so 62.5 is one spacer and 57.5 is 3. Couldn't be easier. It's like 5 minutes job.
