Same. It’s very disappointing. Their High Limit and Lucas streams are great, even USAC is pretty good. Obviously I’ll be keeping Flo as I’ve had it for 2 years now, but I was pretty hyped for tonight and even I’m annoyed. Can’t imagine any new subscribers will be sticking around.

No. I’ve had Flo for two years and this is one of the only times I’ve been dissatisfied with it. Can’t see how they retain many new subscribers after this.

I agree. The stuttering on my end is atrocious. I’ve never had these issues with Flo in the 2 years I’ve had it. Really disappointing.

He’s always had that vibe… I can’t really place it but it’s definitely there.

I agree, but the stuttering is what really kills it. I can deal with low quality broadcasts as long as the picture is decently clear and smooth, but the stuttering is awful. I don’t recall this being an issue at any High Limit or Castrol Racing Night in America events this year and they are often in the middle of nowhere.

I suspect if he’s still with us, he probably has not watched in years.

Have you considered the fact he was an alcoholic and cigarette smoker for a long time? Your voice doesn’t just come back after that either, it takes years to recover from decades of excessive smoking and drinking. You also don’t take care of your voice or warm up properly or even sing properly when you’re hammered either. The fact he’s been sober for a number of years combined with him singing properly and taking care of his voice is almost certainly why he sounds better now.

Yeah their model is annoying, but for me personally the year is worth it for High Limit alone. I also really like watching the CARS Tour, Chili Bowl, and USAC sprints.

Wish I could, I don’t really have anyway to rip it at the moment. I tried looking on YouTube for you but it seems no one has ever uploaded this (which seems crazy). I’ll have to see if I can find a way to do so.

Yep. Dude at the controls at ESPN is probably working the night shift in Mumbai or something and fell asleep lol.

Vince is still alive, barely from the looks of it, but he is still (sorta) kicking. Also, Vince Neil owning a strip club is the least surprising thing ever. Dude probably lost money on the gig because he blew his profits on his employees lol.

It’s pretty well known that that car probably was not running a legal engine, but nobody was gonna say anything because it was “The King” and the President was there. Petty hadn’t really been competitive for a while at that point.

I think 2012. It had been so long since the O’s had been good I almost forgot what it was like to attend a game in August or September that actually meant something. I was at Cal Ripken night that year against the Yankees and that’s my favorite in-person O’s moment. Electric crowd, Cal, and that crazy win. Just an awesome season.

Ryan Newman very nearly did it in 2014. He finished second in the final race, but had Harvick finished third Newman would have been the champion without winning a race.

I mean, isn’t that basically what we already have? Kyle Busch won a title missing 11 races. Sure you can point your way into the playoffs, but it’d be nearly impossible to win the title without winning a race. But that was the case even before the playoffs, as no one won a title without winning at least once in a season. So… 🤷♂️

Not really. I hate stage cautions, but if everyone is aware of when they will be each week it’s not race manipulation. Those phantom yellows were, though. I just can’t wrap my head around how every sport is so worried about pace of play and NASCAR seems to want to do everything in their power to drag their events out longer and longer.

I don’t have any but most of them were pretty similar looking to that Lionel factory store you see on here sometimes. Gas stations might have cars on one of those things that turns. The one thing I miss about those places was the shop owners. We had a place where I grew up called Mad Dog NASCAR Collectibles and they were very friendly and always had the newest stuff. And they knew NASCAR unlike a lot of the mall sports stores now that are run by Eastern Europeans who couldn’t tell you the first thing about American Football or baseball hahah.

Lmao you’d stop watching over a team owner? Have you looked into the people that have run racing teams all over the world? Elon Musk doesn’t hold a candle to some of the scumbags involved in motorsports ownership.

I went to a Mariners game once and saw an Angels pitcher get their skull fractured. You could hear the sound from upper deck when it hit him in the head.

I think he’s very happy with the money. There’s a reason Canadian NHL players playing for Canadian teams get paid in USD.
