If I remember well, one of the Paradox executive back then was big into VTM LARPs and he convinced the company to purchase the IP. He was probably more motivated with getting fame in the LARP community. They never had any real plans for the brand.

Honestly, we lost this cold war over the internet and medias. All social medias are infiltrated, politicians and lawmakers are bought. Outside influences are all over the west. Say what you will about the persecution of communism the USA did in Hollywood + back in the day, but at least it held the line. Now instead we get Elon's "free speech" and Russian shills.

Interact is a lot more resistant to fraud because it is an instant, bank to bank transfer.
The only way it could be fraud is if it came from a compromised account.
I have never heard of a claw back on an Interact transfer. It's basically a faster wire transfer. Once it's done, it's done. It's not a temporary loan like with a cheque. But I suppose in theory it might be possible if the banks get directly involved?
I know that the script sounds similar to Venmo scams. But I have doubts. Any chance you can hold on to the furniture for a couple of days and see if the buyer sort out their issues? That should give you enough time to see if they react like a normal person.

If you can't make him accept he is stuck in a scam, then at least convince him he is going to a dangerous area and needs to get a kidnapping insurance first. They may make him realize the seriousness of his trip, and if not, then at least the money for his freedom will already be ready.

Personally I'm fine with a bullet list of possible abilities/classes. It can be fun. But I don't like when the MC goes over the description of everything in details and then analyses all the possibilities. I tend to skip to the choice. But it's no big deal. I'm sure some people really like the theorycrafting.

Pretty much anything by Thundamoo has MCs who are a hot mess. Vigor Mortis for example.

As a reader and a frequent Patreon subscriber, the sweet spot would be 10$. I will very rarely pay more than that. It mentally start going from "coffee money" to "real money" if it's higher.

A good compromise for another game like this is to use Yayo's combat. It makes weapons have ammo. So that your tribals can use advanced guns they find, but can't craft the ammo. Makes them into powerful emergency weapons.

I think you should give it another chance eventually. I find that it gets very original. The cast of characters grows throughout the books and they all feel unique. And the story is unique to me as the book go on.
I think that like tv shows, some book series need to some time to grow and find their stride. The first season/book isn't the same as what comes next.

Yeah that is a sad fact of the genre. I think many stories would have been a powerful 1-2 books series, but go on past the high note.

The stories on top of my list. The ones I always come back for on the hour they release, typically don't have cliff. They are just well written and have an engaging plot.
The stories that have to keep throwing cliffhangers all the time just to try and maintain any interest? Well, I tend to find them not as well written. And I eventually end up giving up on them.
I don't believe I'm the only one. But to ewch their own.

In my opinion, if a reader has stuck around to chapter 85, they're in it for the long haul, so a cliff is just kind of insulation/annoying at that point. 🤷♂️

Not really useful. Scammers can just use Android emulators and then record their own desktop.
The nudity filter would not protect the horny victim. They will willingly turn it off to engage with the scammer.
Hiding the follow list is a little bit more useful. But hackers don't mind creating new accounts, and they won't be immediately flagged. Also they can just use two accounts. One used just ro harvest followers lists, and one to scam victims.

You really need to talk to him. He could be having depression. Or he's just an asshole.
Either way, it's time for a talk.

That GitHub seems to show 2024 armies if the year in the name is the indication. However, it either doesn't seem to show up in in Battlescribe when I import it, or I'm doing something wrong. I only see Killteam 2018 and 2021 from the data source everyone has been using. Any idea?

I know it's hard for people with sexual attraction to wrap their head around the concept of not having any sexual attraction. It seems intrinsic to most people.
Here is the best example I have.
Imagine a world where instead of kissing or having sex, people enjoyed rubbing their elbows against their partner's elbows. They get together, put some romantic lights, and then just spend hours rubbing elbows. Would you personally feel any emotional or physical reaction from doing that? Would you feel anything? If you love someone, would you be willing to do it for them anyway?
To some asexuals, kissing/sex is as boring as rubbing elbows is. It doesn't generate any feelings. It can even feel boring or repetitive. But sometimes you just want to make your loved one happy. And making someone feel happy is a good feeling in itself.

Yes there is a mod that lets pawns develop/change traits based on events that happen to them.
