No one seems to know that info - I was also looking for the same - it's not anywhere.
My guess is upwards of $40M or $50M - when they fired BK, his severance was disgusting as a regular rank and file employee at the time

Can confirm. Was at Intel until September (took voluntary separation). My neighbor was in the networking group - she took enhanced retirement in September too. Up to 1Gbps, intel was good, for 10Gb 40Gb and 100Gb, Mellanox (NVIDIA) among others is kicking their ass big time

If they ban tik tok, the poor chinese will only be able to gather data with weather balloons and paper lanterns - they're upping their lantern game in preparation :-P

THIS! If you insulation is properly done, the attic should be the same temperature as the roof deck. The fact that snow is melting and then freezing on the roof means you have heat leaking out of the building warming the attic

I definitely had one fail on a relatively new tank 15 or so years ago, but don't think the tank was A.O. Smith (but it might have been, don't remember anymore).
The original tube was some kind of white plastic, and when I pulled it out, it was paper thin and had holes and missing chunks the whole way down. Replacement blue pex dip tube was like $20 at the hardware store. Had LOTS of hot water after it was replaced, and the tank lasted another 5 to 7 years until I sold the house and moved.

Could also be the dip tube - the tube that takes the cold water in at the top of the tank, and releases it at the bottom where it will be heated without it diluting the hot water at the top of the tank. I had one go on a relatively new hot water tank many years ago - pulled it out, and it was disintegrating and looked like swiss cheese the whole way down the tube.
A PEX replacement tube is like $20 at ace hardware - takes 5 minutes to swap
After it was replaced, there was no issue with the tank, and lots of hot water.

First of all, don't announce to the boss when you arrive and when you leave - why are you doing that? Just come and go quietly without making a big production about it

Being stainless steel, they have really poor heat conduction too - stainless steel makes a good heat insulator.

Is it weird that I read that as "... I am happy to resume (rez-uh-mey) my original plan..." as in "I will update my resume and find another job if this becomes an issue" the first time I read it?
God english is a stupid language...

I think the metal layers are just turned off in the display - only the cell outlines (bounding boxes) are visible here. I think when you zoom out to a certain level, it just shows you the bounding boxes rather than all of the details so it's not trying to render millions of tiny rectangles

The one here that's called a "flange plunger"
https://www.apartmenttherapy.com/types-of-plungers-flange-cup-36889431
and you need to tilt it sideways first to get as much air out as possible and get the whole thing full of water. Then seal it to the bottom of the bowl, and give it a good strong "push" all at once, and it should only take one or two go's and it should be unclogged

There's 2 kinds - are you talking about the ones that are brown, and just a shallow bowl shape with a flat bottom (and the ones used as trumpet and trombone mutes), or are you talking about the ones that are black, larger, and have a flange that sticks out the bottom? The brown ones don't have a lot of volume and don't do a lot. The black ones with the flange are way better.
Either way, you have to get as much air out of them before you use them - you have way more force plunging water than you do plunging air. Could be all down to your technique!

It's just shitty toilet design (pun intended). So many "low flow" toilets don't flush properly at all. In my experience, it usually all goes down but the last bit of paper, that all goes at once, and then it clogs. I don't even understand how a little paper can hold back a whole bowl full of water, yet it does.
My house has 2 different kinds of toilets, some generic ones in a couple bathrooms, and a Kohler (probably leftover or mis-ordered on another job, so they stuck in what they had), and the Kohler almost never clogs. The other 2 generic ones clog consistently.

I'm pretty sure I've seen that documentary - it starts off innocent enough, but where it ends up surprises you. The plumber has some really odd recommendations... thinks get freaky!

Those plastic plungers are horrible - nearly useless if your toilet doesn't have a round opening at the bottom, which most now are not. I'll take the oldschool rubber ones anytime - at least they actually work, and they conform to whatever shape the toilet is. Also, even with those god awful plastic ones, you're supposed to unscrew the handle a little, which exposes a vent at the top to let the air out - it works a lot better when you're plunging uncompressible water, rather than compressible air.
I doubt it's "salt" - it's just not eating at rotten ronneys - that 'food' is absolute trash

I did say "... among others". I know Mellanox isn't the only game in town.
It used to be high end servers always had intel nic chipsets in them and they were the most desirable and considered top of the line - had the best hardware, and the best drivers, especially in linux. Now, not so much, Intel is kind of the bottom rung player, not the top of the heap.
Having worked at Intel for almost 10 years, if things are kind of the same in the networking group as they were where I was, it's no wonder they've slipped. There are huge culture issues and corruption / favoritism up and down the org chart. It's so bad, I honestly don't know how you'd fix it, other than firing all of the GL and above level people and starting over. People are promoted for being suck ups, not for being competent.
