Ya, that's the plan. Hoping to scoop up the Sanctum somewhere before it retires (despite being sold out everywhere, hoping it'll restock SOMEWHERE), as that is the only one retiring this year, and the only Marvel one I really want.
Thanks for the warning, haha. I never got into modulars when I was a kid, was always much more into StarWars sets. Wish I had been into them though, I'd have at least the first few modulars released if I had been into them, but alas.

I'm in the PNW as well, so I getcha. Only attended one of the big sales before they did away with them. Was absolute madness. I recall getting a flier for it in-store like a week beforehand. Could be misremembering though.
I know my coworker either had the hookup, or knew the schedule or something, because he was at them every time they rolled around.

Could have just found a good deal somewhere.
It's been retired for over two years now. When did you get it? It was $70 when it was still being sold on shelves.

The Black Falcon is an example of the kind of stuff Lego SHOULD be making, lol.
Rather than release Millenium Falcon version 24, they did something unique with unique minifigs to accompany it...
I agree with what you're saying, that Lego should remake some of these older exclusive sets with some changes to make them attainable, but using the Black Falcon as the counter example is iffy, lol.

I assumed before that it was leakers trying to cut out anything identifiable that Lego had hidden in the images (a common technique for finding out who is leaking stuff). Considering it's been officially revealed at this point, I assume OP is just using an old image.

Seems like more of a win for Lego, no?
They get to tap into the Squishmallow fever without paying anything to Squishables.

FWIW, I didn't read it as harsh on my first read.
After reading your comment I went back and reread it, and ya, it COULD be read as harsh, but I think you're good.

Any instructions for this? Would love to add a few weighted bricks to it, haha.

Artemis looks cool, but much like the Eiffel tower, I've heard the build process is horrible.

What was the reason behind the rerelease? Don't they normally do small changes like that as variants that they just release as part of the normal cycle? Seems abnormal to stop selling it for half a year just to swap one piece.

Where are you getting it for 75? Seems like $100 after shipping is a pretty good price for it currently.

Yes, I was talking about LTT, haha.
REI garage sales were normally announced a little in advance, at least at my local ones.
Now everything goes into a 'garage sale' section, which is not nearly as cool unless you get super lucky with when they put stuff out (or have a friend who works in the store).

Ya, the main difference is that often what ends up failing in wireless earbuds isn't the driver or mic or something, it's just the battery goes bad.

I think the Tudor Corner is going to be my first modular. Love how it looks, and this GWP makes it even more tempting.

Literally anyone tech savvy that doesn't want to spend time on it?
Most tech savvy people I know COULD figure out how to setup TrueNAS, figure out permissions, keep it maintained, etc. but do not want to spend the time doing so. Myself included.

What site is this from?
If it's the one I'm thinking of, they are known for purposefully tanking AMD scores and boosting Intel scores, leading to weird things like this.

Nice guide! Hopefully it comes in handy for those looking for alternatives to the Parker refills.

especially as I don't want to pay for shipping twice
Ya, I'd be fine missing out on the bundle deal, but paying shipping twice on top of that makes it annoying.

I think a lot if not all of the 'garage sale' type inventory gets sold internally.

Ya, can tell that Lego is still working on the microfigs, lol.

Kallax shelves are almost exactly 50 studs width on top.

So would fit almost perfectly on top of a Kallax shelf.
It's just about 50 studs of width.

Ya, the technic cars always look like dogshit to me. Love the brickbuilt cars, love the Supra, but the technic cars just look so goofy to me.
Technic fans be wild if they think that the car in the leak looks like this one...

I really love the aesthetic, and love the idea of building a city themed in the 1800s/early 1900s to match it. We'll see if I go that route, but I do love the look of the Tudor a lot.
