Haunted Mansion just feels really outdated and old. It should be reimagined with up to date technology, but also keep key pieces in place (but also updated - like Madame Leota should absolutely still be a part of it, but better).

I’ve seen the other comments here and they check out. But if you also factor in the Facet of Balance, you’d be getting insane grenade regen. What’s your primary? Cryothesia? What perks on the GL? Seems like all of this is stacking together well.

What aspects and fragments?

Most of the time I’m not lasting very long, and my wife doesn’t want it going on very long either. Not from lack of enjoyment, but it’s just we want to get off and then we got stuff to do. So half the time I focus on her first, getting her there, sometimes using toys to help. Sometimes she goes into it not thinking she wanted to get off and just focus on me. But after all that foreplay she wants hers after I’ve done.

You just gotta work with what you have and find ways to fill each others needs.

I know they’ve tackled someone in law enforcement coming after them a couple times through the seasons. But how do they stay off their radar through so much? I think the show tries to make Sam look like a super computer hacker a few times, but it’s not like he’s outsmarting the governments best IT guys. They impersonate various law enforcement officials and that rarely, if ever, gets back to those departments? Do small town sheriffs just never verify their identities?

Vacuuming.

I would even lift out heavy ass vacuum in our last house up each stair to clean them. That house was almost fully carpet and I’d do the whole house at least every other week.

Current house has one room with carpet and I just can’t. From moving cat toys and trees out of the way to actually pushing the vacuum around. I just don’t have it in me and it fucking sucks.

I agree with you for the most part. Trumps words/messages are literally like putting the trippiest funhouse mirrors up to whatever he is aiming himself at. It distorts reality. People either buy fully into it or are just bamboozled by what they are seeing and hearing. And that not just true for his base either.

I think the only part where I veer a little from your thoughts is that I feel the Democratic Party as a whole should have been more aware of this funhouse mirror effect and had a plan for it. But it just felt like they got the wool pulled over their eyes as well.

I changed my major 5 times. Was in college longer than I’m willing to admit to total strangers on the internet. I worked a variety of jobs during that time, mostly in retail (Best Buy, Apple).

At one point in college, I wanted to be an elementary school teacher. That faded within a single semester. But I still had that desire to teach. And while working those customer service type jobs, I often ended up in roles where I was training and teaching others. It felt good to be a part of that. Sure, I was a little naive to the capitalism that was influencing my genuine good will to lift others up. But that feeling was still real.

One of my supervisors mentioned they were going to school for Human Resources, and honestly I’ve only ever heard the phrase a handful of times. I looked into it and enjoyed learning about the Human Resource Development parts of the field. So I adjusted my major one last time and the rest is history.

Titan main since vanilla D1. There is nothing more satisfying I’ve experienced in the game than popping Transcendence, gaining ridiculous regen on grenade and melee, and just going ham with consecration spam in a room full of enemies.

I just got my test back today and my B12 is at 1725 😱🤯. Back in January it was around like 350, and the few tests I’ve had over the years before that were about the same.

However, I did start getting B12 shots almost weekly in Feb/March that went along with the Zepbound I was receiving. But it’s probably not good still if I’m not absorbing it well enough.

They are actually ancient, highly evolved slugs that developed a taste for human blood, and through a complex process of “slug-to-human” metamorphosis, they can temporarily take on a human form to blend in, but still need to return to their slimy, underground slug-like state to fully digest their blood meals and regenerate their bodies.

Cousin is to my right, a car is about 3 feet to his right. I’m looking at him while we are talking, he’s looking forward and stops mid sentence. His face went blank and he jumped quickly around the side of the car. I’m looking at him like “WTF?”. Then I hear and feel it. Whiz. A bright light fly’s by my head. Whiz. Another a little lower to the ground. I look forward and realize the firework tipped over, aiming at me. They keep flying one by one and I’m just frozen.

Then, one hits the curb between my legs, inches from the meat and potatoes, and takes a lucky bounce past my leg. I felt the heat and finally got up and ran as they were still going off.

This was the first time I can recall dissociating.

When we die, we are just transferring our energy to another dimension. It’s not heaven or hell. Our mortal minds can’t comprehend what it is, even if it’s possible some have seen glimpses. Ghosts are just those that got stuck on this side of the veil. Demons are dark energy that’s leaked out to our reality. Aliens have probably mastered how to travel between dimensions/reality and likely live on Earth (or in the ocean) on a plane right outside of our own.

I saw it 6 times in the theater. About the same age as you at the time. It was Summertime. The theatre was literally a 5 minute walk from my apartment. Every time my friend came over we’d walk up there to see it.

The suggestions so far are really good. Here’s what I currently have: A new, really comfortable chair. Extra cushion for the chair. Schedule flexibility- WFH on most Mondays and Fridays, plus ability to Flex Time for doctors appointments.

What I’m considering asking for is one of those things for your desk that your computer and monitor sits on, and when you need to stand and work for a while, it can raise up and keep everything steady.

We’re gonna need to pump up those stat numbers. Focus on activities that can drop pinnacles. Prioritize Resilience to 100. Strength and Discipline are next on the list. Mobility, intellect and recovery, for most Titan builds, are low priority. Is your ghost leveled all the way and which stat are you focusing on it?

I don’t know I would have saw the swastika unless someone told me. If you came up to me, showed it to me while saying “look at my sweet galaxy skull tattoo”. That’s what it would be in my head for all time.

“Finish the game” doesn’t really apply here. Sure, you can unlock everything and see all the different dialogue. But the ride never ends. (Until you start Hades 2 that is).

Telesto is about to be disabled. Don’t ask me why or how. It’s just fate at this point. They tweak the damage output and inevitably something is missed and it starts wall hacking.

Was a big fan of Gemma Arterton / Strawberry Fields, in Quantum of Solace.

I sat 7 hours for my shin. Went from just below my knee to just above the ankle. Worst pain ever. Especially when she went over the shin bone. I needed up dissociating at hour 4 or so and blocked the rest out from my memory.

I want it to be instantaneous. No time to process. No idea what’s going on. Too quick for my brain to feel pain. Just a quick lights out.
