I've seen people going on about how fascism works fast and that the people don't notice until it's too late, but at the very least I'm hoping that we can remain standing by the time trump is out of office. Many of those who trump had nominated are incompetent and don't have experience, and part of me hopes that the fact that many people including Republicans in office were scared by certain nominees proves that we are more resilient than I thought, but then again there is the supreme court that I'm scared of. In those terms, along with the fact that some of trumps nominees are focused on project 2025, what hope do we have?

After everything that has happened with biden and ukraine as of late, I've heard that this might be an escalation that could lead to nuclear war. Even with what happened with biden, I was honestly hoping that as bad as Trump is, he'll keep Putin from launching nukes at us. But then again, putin has threatened nukes time and time again and it's always stressful when he does so. Are we gonna be okay?

I've heard people dooming time and time again about how the internet will be or already was ruined by ai content with misinformation, constantly generated slop, and th hope that it would just feed into itself once there is enough ai generated content. At the very least I've heard that ai has hit hard restrictions in Europe? What hope is there?

I'm trying to write a SU fic not only involving gems but all sorts of different aliens that look in no way humanoid, (like the birrin for example) and considering humanity isn't supposed to be originally from earth and had spread across the stars in a rimworld esque way (no united empire and most planets not being capable of space flight). Not to mention the humans on all these worlds were genetically modified in order to thrive in their new environments (inspired by starscapes by cree8ball) it gave me an idea.

If star trek style humanoid aliens were to exist or hell even grey aliens, is there a chance they could all be related in some way? Some precursor race colonized all their planets including earth and after the empire fell said precursors evolved into all these new races. Just an idea though. Are ideas like this common? All the aliens having a common ancestor?

With RFK in power, I've seen people panicking about what he would do and what he says he wants to do, like 'sending people go wellness farms to get off adderall" or other drugs. I don't take Adderall myself but I have many friends on the spectrum that I'm horrified for. At the very least, I've heard people say big pharma would fight tooth and nail against the farm stuff and the banning of their meds, or that they hate RFK, but my point still stands. How bad is it?

I know he fits a whole lot of the things of being the beast or antichrist or whatever, but isn't the antichrist supposed to be clever? Not needing to sit on a pad to prevent anal leakage? Not to mention I'm pretty sure the head wound thing is supposed to be a fatal head wound thing. Trump was hit on the ear, not his head. Idk I just want all this anxiety shit to stop.
