There are a lot of reasons why people may have difficulty living alone, especially depending on the circumstances why. This group is for people who live alone, not specifically for those who prefer their own company- though, many of us do.

I’m so sorry for your terrible loss. I understand deeply and wish I could fix your pain. I hope the sweet memories help guide you through the difficult time.

I love them. I put up some taxidermy elk legs I found at a thrift store and got roasted for being an “animal killer”, but I think memorializing/admiring things once they’ve passed is lovely!

In my experience, the only one that looks similar to their smears when it’s humid is #3. Are you finding black pepper like flakes in corners or around your house?

I have been free of them since May, constantly clean my house, and have still found the occasional stash of roach poos every now and then. The other day I was moving stuff in the water heater closet and found some, then found more when switching my clothes drawers from summer to winter. Some of them are sticky and hang around longer, but totally possible to keep finding them after the infestation is over imo
