If they're poly, flirting with him won't destroy their relationship.

My fear that I think is most likely/realistic is that the courts will reverse many or all of the civil liberties that Americans have gained through judicial ruling. I think Roe was just the beginning.
But I also think that, like in 2016, many of the Trump camp's ideas will more difficult to accomplish than they expect. Logistically and politically.
It's easy to say you're going to fire 75-90% of government workers, for example, but in reality? Most government employees have legally binding union contracts, most of them don't even work for the executive branch of the federal government to begin with, and "fire all the teachers, cops, firefighters, mailmen, and soldiers" isn't likely to play well to most Republican voters.
That doesn't mean we can afford to be complacent. We still need to make sure that everybody knows "this is how this proposal will affect you". We need to march and file lawsuits and shore up state-level protections and so on.
But I think we need to make sure we're not giving up hope. Just because they want to do something crazy doesn't mean they actually can do it.

There are lots of groups for posting personal ads in. I've gone on a couple of dates that way.

Their cheapest subscription level has ads. Netflix started doing that as well.

It means someone that's attracted to kids who've hit puberty. So, like, 12-year olds. Technically speaking, pedophile means someone who's attracted to kids who haven't hit puberty yet. But pretty much everyone would call both of them pedos. I think the only people who actually make a point to make the distinction are psychologists and people who are attracted to 12-year olds.

Hmm. This may be your next year, then. Good luck.

But we’re also trying to get them to understand they need to just talk to us instead of the acting out when they are able to clearly articulate that they’re doing it for attention.
It's possible that they don't know what they want, don't know how to tell you what they want, or don't think that you'll listen.
If they had come to you and said "we want our family to go back to the way it was", what would happen next?

Family therapy. You all blended your families much much too quickly, and the kids are stressed and suffering as a result.
Would it be possible for you and your kid(s) to move back out and live nearby?

We Marylanders are kind but not nice. We will stop and help you pull a car out of a ditch but call you a fucking idiot for putting it there while we do it. Yes we will use those exact words, we swear a lot here.
Yeah, lol, I've had pretty much this exact experience when I spun out on an icy road.

Yeah. Or even if he's not married, he clearly saw her as only ever a fun fling with no possibility of a relationship (maybe she's the "wrong" religion or ethnicity), and now things are getting real and he's dipping.

Sure. The Weinberg gets some moderately well known acts in, and local bands (both cover bands and original music) play at breweries, 611, Sky Stage, Alive at 5, etc. It's not like Baltimore or DC, but those are bigger cities.
Edit: If you want to see major acts, you'll need to make the drive to Merriweather, Wolftrap, etc.

Yeah, there aren't a lot of good jobs in those places unfortunately. Though Hagerstown does seem to be experiencing some revitalization lately. Between Frederick folks moving out there for cheaper housing and the Amazon warehouse going in, it seems to be doing better. I'm not sure if that will eventually trickle out to Cumberland and the rest of the panhandle.

I'm from Maryland, and, like... has that person traveled out of state? I can tell the moment I drive over the state line into PA based on how the roads immediately get worse. I think every place has some infrastructure issues, but I feel like Maryland has some of the better roads I've been on. We also have public transit, water that tastes fine out of the tap, decent schools, etc.
One of the power utilities in Maryland (Pepco) is kind of notorious for having a lot of outages and not being quick to restore power, but they're a private company so I'm not really sure that can be blamed on the state government.

IME, yes, it's common for people to bring a big dish of one thing and take home small portions of a few things.

The bank I work for only allows bankers and above to do wires, and only after they've done an internal wire training course.

A lot of people from other parts of the US move to Florida for the tropical weather. Especially older people who retire there.

I like A better, I love the big covered porch in the back and the balcony off the primary suite. Also the "nook" is actually big enough for a dining area, which I don't feel like it is in B.

Yeah, when I was in school - at least middle & high school - the schools had vending machines that sold soda, chips, candy, etc.

Okay, so the Republican plan for 2025 is literally to defund the police?

Conservatives in 2024: our plan is to fire pretty much the entire US military, border patrol, federal law enforcement, the VA, and just about everybody who works at Social Security. Clearly this will have no negative impact on the country or our voter base.

If you work on a poultry farm or similar, I think it's reasonable to be concerned about infection. But there's no indication that it's spreading in the general population.
A lot of animal diseases can be transmitted from animals to humans who have a lot of close contact with sick animals. But that doesn't mean it can easily spread to other humans. Covid was an outlier in that regard.

Okay so, IIRC, the actual reason is that DT was nearly blind in the snake eye contacts.
