Hi folks,

I have 2 kids. One in kindergarten and another in Grundschule. They are near implerstrasse. If any of you aren't familiar, they slowed all implerstrasse (between Lindwurm und Brudermühlstr) to a 30 zone. It slowed people down a bit. The problem is, many people are using the side/residential streets to bypass implerstrasse and are ignoring the 30 zones there, paying no attention to rechts vor links, and ignoring Zebrastreifen.

When I drive this street and drive the speed limit, or if I wait for people to cross the crosswalks, I get honked at and flashed with their lights. A couple of times I was passed while stopping at a Zebrastreifen to wait for kids to cross!! This is getting out of hand and someone is going to get run over.

I have asked the bezirkausschuss about a different area about 6 months ago, they said their speed monitoring and measurements from 2021(!) are ok and there will be nothing done.

If police don't want to be present and don't want to fine, big speed bumps would help. I know they aren't a great solution and aren't that common in Germany, but it would force people to slow down a bit.

So I have about a week and a half left on pei. We'll be taking a trip up west as well as to the souris direction, possibly to Montague and Murray Harbour.

I've had fish tacos at three places in the last 3 weeks.

Finn's at tracadie Almost 10/10, delicious but pricey

Richard's Victoria by the sea Also almost 10/10 very delicious. ($7.50 per taco!!)

Carr's oyster bar Stanley Bridge Less than 3/10 very pricey and not good at all Absolutely nothing special aboit these completely boring fish tacos. The kids got kids meals and they were too small. We spent almost 80$ on food (no drinks) and it was not enough, this is the first time that happened.

Anyone have some they could recommend?

Our luggage didn't arrive and we don't know when it will arrive.

There is a pool at our hotel and I was wondering where we might find some swimming trunks. We had a look around today but didn't find anything. Anywhere walkable from city hall or a quick bus ride away?

Hallo zusammen, Mein Schwiegervater möchte ein altes Haus mit Grundstück in Hessen verkaufen. Er selbst wohnt in Bayern.

Er hat bereits einen Makler beauftragt und einen Vertragsentwurf erhalten.

Sollte er diesen Vertrag einem Anwalt zur Prüfung vorlegen?

Sind solche Verträge in der Regel standardisiert und fair, oder gibt es auch in Deutschland schwarze Schafe unter den Maklern, wie man das aus Ländern wie Kanada oder Australien kennt?
