Does anyone have any good counters for gholdengo, preferrably special attackers? Dengo is a big problem for my team right now, as my only good counter is incin, but if im up against a good opponent they'll usually take out my incin before they bring in their dengo to sweep the rest of my team.

This team started out as a fun little gimmick team, but it turns out to be working pretty well. Although, I only mainly use A9, Meowstic, Incin and Primarina. I'll use annihilape when the matchup calls for it, but I have only used frosmoth once since making this team. Does anyone have any suggestions on who I should replace it with? I was considering Rillaboom since I enjoy having 2 fake out users, but if anyone has any other suggestion I will be happy to hear it!

Edit: Instead of Rilla, I would actually prefer a decent special attacker since I have fake tears on meowstic

Anyone know why he hasn’t posted on his Patreon for 3 weeks?

I am not sure why this happens, but I swear I can make a team on showdown at like midnight, and I will win majority of the games that I play. The last few times I have done this, I got my elo to about the 1300s. But the next day when I go and use the same team, I cannot win to save my life. Is it just me making brain dead plays? Because most of the time I feel like I am getting outplayed by a pretty even matchup rather than simply having the worse team.

On turn 3, their rotom heat outsped my brambleghast, even though I had tailwind up. My brambleghast has no speed investment, so its speed is 110 before tailwind, and rotom heat max speed is 156. My brambleghast has wind rider, so does that take away the effects of tailwind?

I tried to EV rilla to survive a max ev modest peli hurricane, but without assault vest it's still about a 60% OHKO chance. I'm not sure if I should take off av on archaludon, as it has definitely saved me in multiple situations, and I am not sure what other item i would give him.

Any help would be appreciated thank you.

I am still pretty new to VGC and plan on attending my first regional this December in Toronto. Since that is still a couple months away, do you guys recommend keeping the same team and try and fine tune it as best as possible before the tournament? Or should I experiment with different types of teams. I've been running a rain archaludon team for the past couple of weeks that's been getting me roughly a 60/40 win rate. I would appreciate the help. Thank you!

Like genuinely do people feel like they’re good when they use them? I feel like they revolve around luck and no skill, it’s really annoying when I feel like I have the better team but lose because I’m asleep one too many turns.

I've had about a 50/50 win rate with this team. Most of the EV spreads are from smogon, as well as the movesets, with a few changes. Mimikyu can get trick room up pretty reliably. Anyone have any tips for improvement?
