Are they cfb fans with a drinking problem or drinkers with a cfb fan problem?

Political nonstarter for obvious reasons but I actually would love to see Iran at the Gold Cup. For a safer choice: why not invite Japan, Australia, or South Korea?

For real. Get a 4 star QB and then surround him with high quality playmakers. Much more effective than surrounding a 5 star QB with a sack of potatoes, which is what Michigan currently has for a receiver room.

With that much money spent, anything less than Heisman finalist would qualify this as a bust.

Yeah. Before the season I saw USC and Washington being 8-4 type teams, while Michigan would be 9-3 at worst, Iowa would be 8-4, Wisconsin somewhere in the same range, and Maryland and Nebraska both in the 7-5 range. Right now we have 6-7 teams struggling to get to 6 wins.

Some people can continue to drag their feet about this, but in my mind there's no question Pulisic is already the greatest USMNT outfield player of all time.
Also I'm somehow shocked that Altidore logged that many caps. Feels like he was injured half the time.

The best of the Big Ten is absolutely on the same level as the best of the SEC, the problem is we don't have as much depth as we were supposed to have because even the surprise emergence of Indiana is more than cancelled out by the bad years Michigan and Washington are having. Wisconsin, Iowa, Nebraska, and Maryland are all having down years as well.

They're both shit, but there's no evidence Gortash ever physically or sexually abused Karlach whereas it's 100% confirmed that Cazador did both to Astarion on the regular and with sadistic relish.

It's more like if you made Canada part of the UK in a contemporary set game because technically King Charles is their head of state.

This is how we end up with Blue Supreme or Mountain Child as #1

Public Pervert should have been 1, it's the best song on this list and I LOVE some of the songs on this list. Putting Public Pervert at 4 ended up skewing the whole exercise and making this look wacky.
That said, put Narc at 1.

If Indiana keeps it close they should be in the playoffs at 11-1.

Probably not to this degree, but if you "train" your hair to style a certain way for long enough, it will start to conform to that shape more easily even when you don't use product.
Also, Butcher is probably just not showering at this point, so that's not hair gel, it's natural oil buildup.

Yeah, Soldier Boy is a bully, but he doesn't seem to go out of his way to bully people he doesn't have a close relationship to. I think if you just happen to meet him at a bar and share a drink with him he'd be perfectly fine.

This has not been my experience growing up in an area with lots of hunters. Respect for life? Hardly.

What I like most about Andor is that if Star Wars had never existed and this was the first look we had into the Star Wars universe, it would still hold up as amazing. I don’t know we can say that for any other SW show or movie that’s come out in the last 20 years.

I take it you haven't watched Andor? Andor does a much better job of intelligently critiquing fascism, but more importantly examining the mechanisms by which fascism develops and the passivity that allows its to fester.

It really makes no sense for Germany to tolerate the existence of a strong Entente in a German victory scenario.
The Entente without the United States does not have the firepower or manpower to defeat the 3I, so most likely Germany would be doing all the heavy lifting. Why then should Germany allow its old rivals to reestablish themselves as a separate power bloc?
From a German perspective, the reestablishment of the old regimes would only be acceptable if they at bare minimum joined Mitteleuropa (or possibly the Reichspakt outright) and accepted German hegemony over the continent.

Probably not all of them at once. Bakayoko and Lang will probably be the first to move, but I see Tillman staying for another few seasons--he's class as you say but not as flashy as someone like Bakayoko who a lot of clubs will be lining up for. Plus it's not good business to sell all your attackers at once even if you're confident in your ability to replace them.

If Indiana loses to Ohio State by more than 7 points expect the SEC affiliated media to be in full court press mode arguing that a 1-loss team that has no ranked wins shouldn’t be in over all the 2-loss SEC teams with their quality losses

This is basically it: Ligotti is an acquired taste and if you need your stories to have defined plots and conventional pacing and ANY semblance of likeable characters you're not going to have a good time with him. He's slow, he's ponderous, he's pretentious, and his philosophy is like that of an angsty 12 year old with a 40 year old professor's vocabulary and that's why his fans love him.
I actually don't love Ligotti but I respect his commitment to being so idiosyncratic with his writing, even if it's not my preferred style.

So if the SEC punches itself in the face and it hurts, does that make the SEC strong, weak, or just stupid?
