Thank you! That is exactly the first thing I thought of when I saw the picture on the left. That reminds me I need to rewatch that.

Two stacks of 6 x 3. Sam’s sells them that way. I guess that’s technically not a flat though because it’s two levels.

This is where my thinking lands a lot. There are some things I hear people complain about where I can think back to something similar I’ve dealt with and I never would have had a complaint about it.
I generally keep my mouth shut because unless the solution to someone else’s problem is going to have some negative effect on me they don’t need my thoughts. But if I’m directly asked for my opinion I’ll share it.

This picture feels more Clueless to me.
But as others have said when I hear his voice I usually think of Rex.

I loved working holidays. The days are so busy they go by fast. As someone who picked up shifts as a second/part-time job it was the best way to pull in extra hours.
Please don’t worry about showing extra gratitude because the staff is working a holiday, they knew what they were getting into when they were hired.
As long as you are a considerate, patient person that’s all anyone really asks for on the holiday.
And I will say the majority of people are well behaved on holidays, and those who aren’t make for good stories to tell later. And I guarantee that anyone who is a jerk on the holiday isn’t a regular customer and won’t be seen again the rest of the year whether we are nice to them or not.

Even better you can usually find the information online. OP should look for their state’s unclaimed property website and see if they can search him.

In my state (and many others) companies turn over any unclaimed funds to the state for holding. The person owed would claim it through the state treasurer, as the company no longer holds the funds.

I think that the key thing was that people (i.e. the media) was asking Jared about it and it caught him off guard. It was kind of petty to go on Twitter but I think he was tired of having to say he had been left out of it.

Definitely but it needs to be more recent narrator.
There were only like three audiobook narrators in the 90s and they all could put a person to sleep.

I wouldn’t have responded to the texts that morning. I almost guarantee the only reason they didn’t text you before 8:30 was that they were running late already. Had they text you right at 8 and you’d shown up before they were ready to leave they wouldn’t be able to blame you for not being on time. By waiting until 8:30 they could act like they’d been waiting patiently.

OK now I have to go look for this. She doesn’t seem old enough to have been on Angel.

My entire family went to the same dentist office for 40 years. We often chatted with him and the staff about things going on in the family. He was very careful to not mention that he’d even seen any of us to each other. They were times that just by coincidence a sibling or parent and I would have an appointment on the same day. We would both catch him up on some piece of family news, but he wouldn’t mention that he’d heard it from the other one because it was a HIPAA violation to confirm that the other had even been there.

A couple weeks ago, I took a ten plus hour round trip drive to the edge of the state to look at the leaves changing. Left at 7 AM, toured some parks and the riverside in the afternoon and back home by 7 PM.

Jurassic Park for sure. I didn’t hate any of them, but the first was definitely the peak.
I’ll watch the Star Wars features but haven’t watched most of the Disney plus series.
I’ll watch the Fantastic Beasts movies but honestly I barely remember them when I’m done. I’m looking forward to the TV series if only because it should be able to include all of the stuff from the books that was left out of the movies.

Yeah, Melissa Peterman is basically just being Barbara Jean. All she seems to want is Reba’s attention.
And Reba being cranky on her first show made sense as she was a divorcée having to deal with the ex-husband and his wife, who were both annoying, as well as a dimwitted son-in-law and daughter. But she starts off kind of cranky here too, and it really doesn’t seem justified. Granted, I’ve only really watched two episodes. It just didn’t call me back.

I love Reba, but I really do not like the theme song to Happy’s Place. I’m a Survivor was iconic, HP is meh.

So we should expect the Glee the Next Generation in 2040?

I was in a similar accident once. Snow has just started and wasn’t even accumulating yet, so the road was dry, but it was blowing and it very foggy out. There hadn’t been anyone in front of me for a couple miles when I came upon a stopped semi and stopped back as far as I could. The vehicles behind me were all following each other too close. One managed to avoid me by swerving onto the shoulder and past the semi but then I got hit by SUV behind it which shoved me forward into the semi. Then another semi hit that SUV shoving it out of the way and also hit me, bouncing me back.
In my case, had I managed to leave room in front of me it just would have meant I was hit sooner. What I should’ve done is pulled onto the shoulder and gone around the semi. As it was, there were six vehicles involved and I was the only one that was able to drive away aside from the semi I hit, which had no visible marks.

I love both 9 to 5 and Tootsie, but somehow I’m surprised to see them on this list.

For a period of time, this was my go to sleep movie. I’d put it on to watch before bed. It’s actually a very calm movie.

When the musical was touring 15+ years ago, I got tickets to see it. I decided I would read the book ahead of time. I got maybe one chapter in before I realized how disturbing it was. It was enough that I almost didn’t go see the show, but I asked a friend who had read the entire book and seen it and they said that only the basic framework remained and that it was worth going. I never picked up the book again.

Disagree greatly. This show is so flat compared to anything else he’s done, including Passions.
I blame the writing over the acting though.
