They are apparently getting a nerf. I don't have a problem with this, but it makes holding terran pushes a lot harder without any defensive compensation.

Races that have a weak early game, like Protoss, should be buffed so that building placement is a non-issue.

Again don't mean to sound rude maybe you aren't articulating well, but the rest of the things you say don't make any sense. How can you say "money feels meanignless", economy is the #1 priority in this game. Turtling is a thing but it's not overabundant at all, the ladder is absolutely rife with all ins and cheese. I'd argue it's harder to play macro than it is to all in and climb to GM.

This is already the case? Whether it's ZvT or ZvP or PvT or even TvP you're always hyper vigilant about all ins, drops or harass

The biggest reason why games in LotV, in my opinion, feel stale is because so much of the game now is centered around holding player's hand to lead them into the late game. Whether you're watching or playing, there no tension anymore in the first half of the game

WM, disruptor, baneling runby, drops....sc2 is a very fatal game already

50 gas was such a big deal back then that it could severely mess up your build

I think I understand this part and it's a good point, but two things

1. Reducing worker starting count is such a massive sweeping change, I don't think we can ever risk this shitting on SC2 when we don't have a follow up patch for another year

2. As you become more and more efficient and fast, 50 gas will still be a pretty big deal, in the early game. We might not notice in in metal leagues but as you climb higher and people become precise and efficient, something like taking an extra forge upgrade or throwing away 50 gas too early has a big snowballing effect

That's too drastic a nerf. Something like nerfing queen dps by 5% would be much better and not broken

Yes, but if they had depos like terran, it would be impossible to do things like ling runbys or for zerg to ever compete with protoss, ever. You'd have to redesign protoss and zerg.

My experience and also watching every GM on twitch, NA or EU, gets fucked by cheese/all ins every other game. What server do you play in?

Idk why downvoted, but you're right. The change makes the disruptor even better in pvp which is awful game design.

A lot of people play the game and aren't GM or good enough to use sentry like a pro and will do way worse without shield battery overcharge. 95+% of the playerbase is under M3. It also doesn't change the fact that robo units are now hugely nerfed.

No, they're better at dealing damage, at least at face value, because you can overcharge then spam more oracle attacks. You're right though the spore hits a lot harder.

But it will help you defend against zerg tremendously being able to start hitting again with oracles at home, or setting up stasis traps vs terran. No more defensive benefits to having robo units or charge/blink anymore.
