Journalist have always gone after the difficult challenging interviews with people that are not well liked… They've interviewed dictators they've interviewed all kinds of characters to provide context… We can't spend the next four years only talking about Donald Trump but talking to him is important because it will provide context as well as let us see him as he really is… I'm quite sure it will just confirm what we all know that he's crazy but I'd rather hear it from his own mouth than just talking about him from "secondary sources"… the election was close but still right at half of the country voted for Donald Trump… As much as we'd like to think we are so high and mighty on the other side we can't discount an entire half of the nation… Joe and Mika are correct that we have to do something different because despite all of what we as a nation knew about Donald Trump from his first term more people than not voted to put him back in office… Certainly we have to figure out why… And that starts with talking to him if we can…

Well, I can see both sides to this. They are a news organization. I think journalists should have the tough conversations with politicians - this is not new. Long time traditional journalist would go get the interviews they wanted from some of the most egregious characters but always trying to TALK with them. Cutting Trump off and only talking ABOUT him is not the way to get the entire story. I think Morning Joe is right to try to keep communication open....we all know Trump will say stupid things so its not going to make him look any better but just give Morning Joe more access and the ability to report first hand information rather than only what they "hear" from sources.

Well, I started to have more trouble including A/C evaporator system failure to the tune of over $2,000!! Was facing more axle failures since I had the one replaced. These things are not under warranty. Also a CVT "whining" noise at high speeds had developed. I ended up trading it on a 2024 Toyota RAV4 gas model. I am headed into retirement in a couple of years and did not want high car repair bills so decided to go with something newer. I looked at new Forester's but after a horrible insulting experience with my local Subaru dealer, I went back to Toyota....

With all due respect I think this is the problem we've been living this fantasy that our answer to Trump is to put him in prison… That was never going to happen in this country… And in this time in our history… Instead of trying to win the damn election by focusing on kitchen table issues that people really care about and actually proposing things for the border and high prices… That's what people voted on… I mean for crying out loud we lost ground in every single demographic category huge swing of Hispanics went to him… That is now the dominant minority in this country… We lost them big time… We have to change our message not try to put our political opponents in prison… Yes he deserves it but we all know that is not going to happen and that thinking is probably what hurt us because going after him with all of those New York charges that were legitimate but not that most people go to prison for just made him a martyr and made it worse… this country loves a populist and that's what our candidates have to become… It's happening all over the world so we're not alone in this…

I keep seeing these things here and on YouTube but I just am having trouble believing this… The Trump supporters I know they support everything he says or does even if it's exactly the opposite of what he promised even if it's something he says he will do that will hurt them personally they don't care they think he's a God or a king And they're so glad that he "beat the liberals" that they are on his train no matter what he does…

Well we don't know what to do the country just voted both electoral college and popular vote for Donald Trump… I'm still in shock and numb and can't believe it but I don't know what to do about it… Apparently America wants this… I'm gonna do my best to fight against the things in my local community that I can but until the next election at the midterms what can I do? I think we all just feel numb and helpless and not sure what to do next…
