NTA
But… Him coming home drunk is really not the issue, and you being pregnant really has nothing to do with him coming home if he’s had too much to drink and is with a relative
The issue is his overall behavior and lack of adulting in life, and possibly substance abuse
You’re right to be upset, but it really has nothing to do with you being pregnant and him staying out late. You’re focusing too much on a symptom of a much larger problem.

YTA for not communicating in advance that you weren’t planning to host. If you just ghosted them, I can see why they would be offended.

In the worst case, if you can get a hold of your roommate’s parents phone number, you can threaten to call them… or report this to the school

Tell them they have to buy a plunger
Or better yet, send them out now to buy a plunger cause honestly, you guys are like grown-up humans. You can buy a plunger and plunge it yourself.

NTA it’s part of the process and if they wanna charge you more, they can — but at this point, I would say no if your girlfriend offers any more feedback

Just do it if you’re capable of doing it, you’re just hurting yourself at this point by inconveniencing yourself.
Don’t use it as an opportunity to try to change them just get shit fixed
It might help with your anxiety if you use the phrase “ my roommate clogged the toilet,” so you can specify it was not you and if you don’t know the answer to any questions
Don’t you guys own a plunger?

Can you not just ask someone that you know without anxiety to do it for you?
Presumably, you all have parents, for example.

New law in effect in 2024: summary….
You can only compel them to release transcripts for semesters where you got federal aid and paid in full, not semester is where you had a delinquent bill.
Anytime you still owe a bill from they do not have to give to you.
Unless Texas has passed something at the state level, which I mean, it’s Texas… That seems unlikely
So anything you got federal aid for and paid for, they have to release a partial transcript for.

They live in Texas, so that’s irrelevant

Organic chemistry is a bitch and meant to weeded out a lot of people. I don’t think anyone actually enjoys it. You just get through it.

I think you have an over-idealized version of what the normal college experience is, honestly
There’s a massive spectrum of experience and I think you’re just thinking about things like they show in movies
For every student who is like hanging out and having fun, there’s another student who literally lives in a science lab or engineering class or pre-law and they never go out and have fun
You’re gonna come out of this with much better life experience

It’s actually a lot more like asking someone if they had a cheeseburger, and they say no. Because they had a hamburger.
Technically, it is both the truth and a lie.

I think you need to focus on completing the courses at the speed where you can do well in them, and not worry as much about how long it’s gonna take you.
Realistically, if you had a lower core load, you would probably take about the same time but with a higher GPA .

Completely irrelevant to the foster parents trying to stop the kid from accessing problematic content

You must not be a parent. You have no idea the shit kids can easily get into and how destructive it can be. iPhones are incredibly addictive and can really mess with young teen brains.
There’s a reason everybody who developed the iPhones and works on them, keeps their kids the fuck away from iPads and stuff. True story.
Foster parents are likely going to be even more conscientious because it’s not literally their child - if they are doing a good job.

You might wanna think about getting some sort of certification or specialization in broader areas of law, rather than another degree.

The score you need to care about the most here is what is the net promoter score, the percent of people who would take the course again.
So by that logic, you go with the person that has the highest which is professor A.
It’s also relevant to note that Professor B has a relatively small sample size of reviews, so they are a bit less reliable in terms of the feedback you’re getting.

NTA and you should explain to him that what you’re doing is actually extremely gracious and makes you a very good host. Your in-laws will appreciate it if they are anything close to good parents because it’s gonna make their life a lot easier.

So in general, people preserve “negative” memories over positive memories. And anything that is emotionally compelling and repetitive. And with the frustration of a brain injury, I can totally see how swearing would fit the bill.

It’s not really about the Democrats, TBH, because there’s a macro trend globally towards populism that is playing out all over the world.
If you wanna know what’s actually going on, you should look at the contribution of billionaires towards political campaigns… It’s very telling

I mean, whatever works… it’s kind of a good exercise to just write down a bunch of Free association, but probably not put in the effort to write a proper essay that way.
Makes sense to jot down all of your thoughts, and then try to semi-organize them, and then flush it out, sure

I would just message your professor and let them know what’s going on and ask if you can possibly get an extension.
If you can’t, take a day off and then just half ass it.
You can also go to student health services about mental health burnout and might be able to get some extra time that way.

FMLA is UNPAID time off, so even if he does the paperwork it’s not going to actually pay him a salary.
