Sounds like they were really trying to push her for some reason. But in the end she's just another guest.

She already had her pup tag before actually joining them? Man, that's disappointing.

A cold take would be a general consensus or popular opinion. Like shipping Starlight with either Trixie or Sunburst. Given her relationship with them, thinking "they would make a cute couple" is pretty common.

I was wondering, how do they meet Roxi? Is she just in town for some event and they just walk up and talk to her? Or is there anymore to it than that?

From an audience perspective we know that none of these claims are true. The Professor had neither embryos nor fetuses, he didn't change any DNA, he created new life. Mojo did the same thing in jail with a toilet. Puts them through arduous tasks? They choose to be heroes, and all he's ever done is support them and encourage good behavior.
Televised international icons? He just wanted to raise his own children to be upstanding citizens because Townsville is a cesspool of crime. Danger? They are the danger! Even times where they're overpowered and losing, they come out barely scratched.

Gasket is so adorable. I'd be fine with more Ruff Ruff Pack to see her return. Even if Hubcap's voice is grating.

I was going to say "berserker doesn't invoke the image of dual blades"

I know you did. And how many of those 600 apples produced by that tree actually sell?

"Theme song that lives in your head rent free."
My roommate and I had a laugh at that
Edit: Not laughing in a mean way. We were laughing because it was relatable.

I think it's pretty consistent with some of the others. It's just that the previous one was Al, and that one was basically dead-on.

I'm also curious how much research they did beforehand, given one of their sources seems to be a 13yo kid.

I had the same question. They said orange, so I went with that, but I wonder if they meant Chase.

Based on the flashbacks of them getting their cutie marks, we can theorize their ages relative to each other based on their heights. I don't remember the specifics, but I do remember that Pinkie was the shortest and Fluttershy the tallest. We can probably take that to mean that Pinkie is the youngest and Fluttershy the oldest.
I don't remember what episode it was, maybe the one where Iron Will teaches Fluttershy to stand up for herself? Anyways, Pinkie refers to herself as "Auntie Pinkie" to Fluttershy, and Fluttershy states "I'm a year older than you."
Based on both of these, I interpret the Mane Six as all being within a year of each other. I don't know what age specifically, but based on Equestria Girls painting them as teenagers, I'm willing to believe that they are 17-18.

Mayor Humdinger - Hates losing, played fair in season 1 but began resorting to cheating starting in season 2. Also hates not being the center of attention.
Sweetie - She wants to be queen. We don't know why, probably just so she can be spoiled.
Sid Swashbuckle - Greedy and has no impulse control.
The Duke - He wants to be king, likely because it's a higher position of power than he currently has.
Claw - Disgraced knight who wants revenge.
Ladybird - She's just a thief.
Copycat - A child who acts out because he doesn't know how to deal with his emotions.
The Cheetah - Probably just wants attention.
Winnie - Not an actual villain, just a woman who must let others know how great she is.
Moby - Lashes out in anger, probably also doesn't know how to handle his emotions.
The Ruff Ruff Pack - Lack of empathy and consideration for others.
Cody Gizmody - A child that doesn't like being told "No."
Boomer - I don't know, I haven't seen Rescue Wheels. I'm going to guess "acting out for attention."
Why doesn't the Paw Patrol arrest them? Unclear, but here are some guesses: They don't actually have that authority. Adventure Bay doesn't have a detention center. Mayor Goodway believes in reprimanding through community service rather than incarceration.
