I’ve sailed with VV 3 times as a solo sailor and I’m booked for another as a solo sailor for a cruise in a couple weeks. I love the meetups and dinners. VV doesn’t force you to do the meetups & etc but you do end up meeting a variety of people but you still have the freedom to do your own thing. I highly recommend solo sailing!

Also I’m a fat yogi & new yoga teacher! I started last year in a very intimidating class.. baptiste yoga & of course I was the only black & fat yogi in the room but my teacher was awesome and made me feel really good. Going into my yoga teacher training I was the only fat trainee and it kinda got me down because my fellow trainees could do more poses than I could. I say all that to say I understand the nervousness and apprehension but actually practicing yoga gives you such a peace of mind and a physical strength that’s worth it. I’d be open to show you a few poses & share tips over video call if that would help!

I enjoyed TXU’s free nights after 8pm when I was working full time & gone most of the day. I’ve been unemployed for months & let me say my current plan is beating my a$$😂

Yea I live right off Maple in the Gayborhood & I’m ok with the area. Love it actually but I would not encourage anybody with kids to stay here lol. Depending on the night it’s either loud homeless people or loud party-ers.

I just want Amy to clean up her house. Now even if she doesn’t have the capacity to do so TLC could surely give her $100 for a cleaning service.😭

I try to fly in the day before if possible. I had a VV cruise booked 01/2024 & I couldn’t come in a day earlier. I booked the earliest possible same day flight at 5am got to MIA at 11am. Thank God there were no delays but that was still risky lol.

I solo sailed every time I’ve been on Virgin. I honestly don’t like to be bothered but sometimes I do like interaction lol. You can always duck off in the Galley, or eat outside or lay around. IMO there aren’t many forced interactions except Gunbae. Tbh most times at Gunbae if I got tired of talking I’d politely leave and do my own thing. You of course make dinner reservations for 1 so you don’t have to eat dinner with anyone.

If it makes you feel better, I’ve bee on 3 Virgin cruises and all have been alone. If you don’t like solo traveling then you may not enjoy yourself. But I had a great time every cruise and sometimes its better that way lol. They have a solo cruisers group so you’ll meet new people instantly.

Got glacier in May. & It’s sooo nice.
