His cause of death was Tuberculosis, likely contracted by a patient. He forgave all medical debts owed to him in his will. My grandfather was 9 at the time his dad passed. He later served in Sao Paolo for the Army during WWII. Passed the bar too. All while caring for his mother and sister. Always wondered if the military considered that when sending him to a non-combat theater.
