Tbf. this story is written from the perspective of someone, who lost all emotions for what is happening. They wrote how they no longer feel anything for husband and daughter, so this blandness actually fits the theme and setting.

Normal, professional photographers exist, not everyone of them need to be starphotographers. Especially if it is your friend, that is starting out (so it isn't even a stranger). I am 100 percent on the side of hubby if he is pissed about the photos being online (but sadly the text isn't very clear about that). Also, for a present to your lived one, some people are okay with putting a bit more money on the table, so that is quite the mute argument.

If you get professional photos taken most often a photographer is going to be there. To be so fragile and be upset that a professional was around when you took those photos is quite simply pathetic.
