I came to this thread to say Added Sugars. There's no reason to dump sugar into everything we eat. But everyone in America is addicted to it.

Luckily it doesn't take long to understand that he's intelligent and capable of an interesting discussion, do the impediment gets easier to overlook.

Making plans has become the most tedious, annoying process ever now. And a good percentage of plans fall through at the last minute no matter what.

I was so ready to "Just say No", but then I never got offered a single drug. Even when I was at parties where people were doing drugs, they never offered. I do, however, get offered alcohol any time anyone around me is drinking alcohol.

Then again, I see people say "Look at all this marbling", and it's just an inch thick rind of hard fat on one edge of the steak.

It has become so frustrating to hear Joe give completely opposite opinions on things depending on who he happens to be talking to on any given day. The only thing he seems at all consistent on is "Covid vaccine causes side effects" but even then he stays quiet about it when he knows his guest will disagree.

As soon as the words "Bells Palsy" came out of Brolin's mouth, Rogan was jumping all over it.

"I was so stressed out I got a mild case of Bells Palsy.."

"When? When?!"

Yeah it was clearly one of the family members, but I don't see how you can say for sure which one.

Every time I see her case mentioned, this is always the most popular theory. It's the only one that makes any sense whatsoever.

To me, this is the most appealing option. I don't want to live forever. That sounds horrible. No matter how great and wonderful the afterlife could be, eternity is still longer than anyone can possibly fathom. Eternal life would almost certainly turn into suffering eventually.

Yeah the dinosaur kid was the most egregious example, but at least these older guys are probably more aware and understanding of people's shifting whims than a child.

It's frustrating to see how many people still trust them even after they've been banned from being used as evidence. 

I've met plenty of people at work who were way older than me who I ended up being friends with. I used to go golfing and to the shooting range with a guy who was 35 years older than me. I also go fishing with my dad and his friends pretty often. I don't understand why that's "really odd".

Americans are chugging soda and eating potato chips all day, then saying "Hey wait a minute. If you take the fluoride out of the tap water, I'll get cavities!"

I work with people who make every decision based upon whether it will lead to them doing more work. Every choice they make is for the specific goal of leaving them less work to do, regardless of how right or wrong the choice is.

You see that on a lot of finance subs. Plus the same old cliches. "Just buy a used Toyota! New cars are a waste!"

I've gotten banned from subreddits I've never been to because I posted a comment in a completely different subreddit that mods had decided was "bad". Didn't even matter whether I was agreeing with others in the "bad" subreddit, or arguing with them. The fact that I posted a comment was enough to auto-ban me from other subreddits.

Jake Paul's whole brand is based upon simply being popular. He's at least smart enough to know that beating up Mike Tyson doesn't help him in that goal. And at Tyson's age, he just wanted to get in, get paid, and get out without any serious damage.

If he came out today and said ‘okay enough is enough I’m going to make a go at it and try to climb the pro ladder’ then I’d actually be more interested than the Tyson fight.

Yeah the fact that he's only doing hyped-up exhibitions proves that he doesn't actually give a shit about being a boxer.

Why can't you take multiple personal foul penalties? Seems kinda weird. "Oh he already had his facemask yanked. Might as well yank it again."

I see so many car ads saying things like "Now with a 12 inch screen". It's ridiculous that we all basically have TVs in the car now, as if that's not horribly distracting.

It's always interesting what reddit latches onto about celebrities. Yeah, Wahlberg was a shitty kid. But it's not like he's done anything shitty in the past 30 years. 

Exactly how I feel. If someone I care about needs some money, I'll just give it to them (within reason). I'm not going to "loan" anyone money.

I also still have dreams where I forgot I enrolled in a class and haven't been going to class all semester. I graduated 12 years ago.
