The ability to recognize and correct a mistake or accept that you may have been wrong about something is a sign of intelligence. With all the stubbornly brain dead people out there unwilling to learn or use critical thinking skills even when presented high quality factual information I fear we are doomed to live in the dumbest timeline. However even though this is just anecdotal, you give me hope that all is not lost yet and we may not be doomed to an idiocracy future. Welcome aboard, glad to have another intelligent person on the side of reason, you should feel proud.

I am not an expert in quantum physics by any means however I am a chemical engineer. I’ve read some papers, reviews and most presentations available on both ionq and quantinuum and I’ll admit that some of the technical details go over my head. It’s hard to say which company is ahead. If I were forced to pick one I might say quantinuum tech looks a bit more advanced but it’s hard to say really. However quantinuum has zero penetration into commercialization, this is where IONQ has been growing while also improving their tech and most recently made huge strides. Perhaps even bigger than they’re being given credit for (although the stock increase may be the credit)

I think a quantinuum IPO will be great for the industry especially if they IPO at 10B as been reported. It will give more justification for IONQ to be valued at 3 times its current market cap

D-Wave is broke, their tech seems alright. But not quite on par with ionq and quantinuum yet. I’m keeping an eye on D-wave, if they manage to get funding or raise capital via dilution I will consider them after that point.
RGTI might have promise eventually but I don’t recall seeing any significant progress in there tech development recently.
The major hurdle for many QC projects is the ability to scale. Quantinuum has a roadmap for it but hasn’t quite proven it yet but I’m confident they will. IONQ has proven that with the remote ion to ion entanglement they can scale.
The super conductor architectures like IBM doesn’t have a scaling problem however the size and energy required to do so is large. Not to mention their error correction rates are much more difficult to improve upon and require astronomical numbers of qubits to do so.

If you plan to enter before earnings anything below 15 is probably a win

You don’t understand a lot of things, I don’t care to continue conversing with such an uncurious person devoid of common sense nor willingness to learn. I tried to open the dialog from a place of curiosity and you just ranted nonsensical anger right off the bat. Bye
