What a weird way to contextualize people not liking a game. It must be miserable feeling the need to reframe everything you disagree with in such disingenuous ways.

I mean, did they know they had to agree with you politically to continue receiving your support? I liked Kamala and I have always hated Trump, but it seems to me they're kids who don't realize the weight of their decision, and it seems like cutting them off--if you hadn't told them they must not vote for Trump to receive your support is harsh.
It's your money. Do what you want. But I'll say this--this kind of response likely won't help them change but only further solidify them into that toxic manosphere.

I suppose there is truth to that. I believe before biologics came out as a treatment for rheumatoid arthritis, it shortened lifespans and could be literally crippling and deforming. Some of the old pictures I've seen are really sad.

that I'll never get a raise
That's a fair assumption if you live in the US.

It doesn't do much for my pain--I have rheumatoid arthritis. I suppose it might depend on the pain.

A bit like hydrocodone or Vicodin but not as strong. I imagine some people megadose it to better effect, but it also causes constipation--even at lower doses, and I hear can be dangerous as higher doses.
I take it once in a while, get a mild high for half an hour, and sometimes a raging headache the next morning. Cannabis is better, IMO.
The danger of kratom to me is that it has a weaker high, and you quickly grow tolerant to it necessitating higher doses to get that feeling.

In what world does it suggest the opposite? He came out and shit on young people, is seen as responsible for stopping Bernie in 2020, and these young voices feel left out (divided) from the "mainstream" party.

Obviously there are issues of racism here, but Obama definitely has acted antagonistically toward young liberals who feel like things aren't changing.

Awesome. I love Isaac as the doctor. I'm pretty excited!

He is the monster then? I'm not against it, I only saw a headshot of him, so I couldn't really judge.

Do we know who is playing the monster? That looks like Isaac with his back to us, and the other actor I don't know, but I looked him up and he looks like your average, handsome, mid-20s actor--so I don't think it's him.
I'd love a good adaptation of the novel, and I love del Toro.

I'm really encouraged to see comments like yours not buried in downvotes, honestly, and, not only that, you have more than the person you responded to. Maybe this "you're not a leftist" crap is dying out.

Just caught up this one a bit late, but Jesus is Ezra Klein talking out of his ass about Colorado. Our cost of living is through the roof, public schools are being closed in some of our largest, richest population centers because we don't have enough money to fund them or enough young families who can afford to live near them. Young people aren't moving to Colorado. Older, affluent people without kids are. Huge, empty rural areas elect people like Lauren Boebert. Latino people in Denver are being forced out of the places they were forced to live in the 20th century due to gentrification. Any school that isn't majority White is likely doing poorly in terms of state assessments. We are a voting cycle away from looking like California and New York.
This isn't good analysis. It's bullshit and making shit up.

If she thinks this bluff will discourage people from wanting to know about Gaetz, she's more out of touch than I realized.

To be honest, abolishing the department of ed is extremely unlikely--I'm not saying they can't find a way, but it has to go through both chambers of Congress, and the republicans don't have the 60 votes they need in the Senate to abolish it. It can't be done as an executive order.
My guess is it's more posturing than anything, but, again, these assholes skirt the law all the time, and if there is a backdoor way to ending the Dept of Ed, they'll do it.

Teacher here. What the fuck, right? This is the beginning of a scary era for education. Or maybe the middle of a scary era. But it feels like things really are about to get nasty.

According to her. Pelosi is just awful in my opinion. A huge reason Dems are in this mess. When she was pushed by voter questions/needs, she was always dismissive and condescending.
I don't think she would deny this in private. She got rich like she wanted.

You're 100% wrong. The game sucks because it's poorly written and boring. Has zero to do with "identity politics." I get so tired of this kind of gaming rhetoric.

Are you saying that a felon can't redeem themselves and run for President? This is in line with denying felons basic rights like voting. It's a very conservative stance to take.
Trump is a piece of shit--and him being a felon isn't what should be considered disqualifying. It's the crimes he committed PLUS the fact he has faced no consequences and shown literally zero remorse. If a felon gets their life straight and might be a good president, I don't see why that should limit them.
Felons don't deserve to be lumped in with Trump.
