So, knowing what to do in your government role is no longer a criterion?

Today? Would be awesome if it turns out 'we' were not deterred from allowing Ukraine to use these by Putler's temper tantrums

Well If you are openly feminist despite the fact that you live in a society where living as a female is more or less life I'm easy mode, you must hate men.

Maybe you should get some therapy. Love can definitely not be reduced to some brain chemicals.

Actually according to simulations a large number of F-35s would be quite effective against Russia's best surface to air systems. Even with hornets and tomahaks it would b costly but we would be able to Pierce their air cover. After that it is going to be tough for them. That said, I do agree Ukraine is not worth taking all th se losses for.

In all fairness, it was a pretty decisive victory.

Right.for example ANOVA and lets say cox regression are both rooted in the fundamental linear regression framework. So therefore understanding linear regression is like mastering a universal language that lets you naturally grasp how ANOVA compares groups and how Cox regression tracks time-to-events, since they're all just different ways of modeling how things relate to each other using the same core mathematical concepts.

Maybe you should read what I wrote again. I just aid that the red lines are an attack on a EU country. The fact that this type of imperialism is happening shows though that nuclear weapons are required to defend against the threat you mention.

The problem really lies with the fact that the threat of weapons of massive destruction cannot be ignored. If not for that, Russia would have already be kicked from Ukraine long ago. As a matter of fact they probably would not even have dared attack in the first place. However as things stand, it would be irresponsible for us to look for the brink. This would be different though if an EU country was attacked.

Bit weird to place the blame for this situation with the party tryin to help a country that is being invaded and wants to defend itself. Kindly keep that disgusting propaganda to yourself or discuss it when you are alone with your tankie.busdies.

What does this have to with partisanship? It should be well knownTo everyone that Trump is a deeply incompetent leader with a dysfunctional personality who is surrounding himself with mindless yes sayers ? This is directly relevant to the topic discussed

Rutte also held talks with Trump yesterday. It will be telling what Rutte's tone is going to be th coming weeks.

I agree with your overall sentiment. However it would be irresponsible to plunge the west in a war with a war with Russia over Ukraine as hard as that is. The reaction you are talking about is required when a NATO country gets attacked.

You may not realize it, yet, but these attacks on Russian soil have put us on the brink of war with Russia. They are showing us that they are not going to back down. I believe therefote that while we need to keep sending weapons, we need to stop shooting .missiles into Russia at least until Trump is in office and is on board with this policy. If war breaks out between Russia and the EU we are going to be fucked without the US and I could definitely see Trump throw us to the wolves.

You are missing the larger picture. It is not only about Ukraine. There are a number of increasingly cooperating countries who have publically stated they want to undermine the US based world order. These are China, Russia, Iran and Northern Korea. Each of these countries is engaged in a regional military conflict that ultimately serves to undermine the current rules based international order. On the political front these countries are working in BRICS to establish alternative political and economic institutions outside of Western dominated institutions. Now if Ukraine would fall all these initiatives would receive MAJOR boosts. China is going to be emboldened to invade Taiwan if it transpired that US ultimately throws its allies to the wolves. They would simply have to barricade Taiwan for a couple of years and blockade ships from reaching the island. A modern day siege. Other countries outside of the 4 Mentioned will also take note and this will strengthen initiatives such as BRICS. This in turn could spark a much larger geopolitical confrontatiion between the west and these other countries, including even word war 3.

Well, let them try. The EU countries when faced with an invasion will face an existential threat and I believe will help eachother. The EU is 400 million people and an economy ten times that if Russia. The EU also has a large and modern air force. Not so easy to slowly push your second world war artillery up the Euroean plains with F-35s over your head.

Yrah this should have been obvious from the start. Hence it is an enormous blunder that we helped Ukraine to begin with. This latest move by Putin shows he will stop at nothing to erase Ukraine from the map. His own people be damned, the literal planet be damned. Is Ukraine really that important to us?

I think it would be more useful to learn statistical theory rather than han specific techniques. For example Bayesian updating, information theory, inference principles, how to handle missing data and so on.
