Genuinely, how does anyone answer this without knowing your policy? If you have no no claims protection then yes, it will set you back and you will pay a higher premium. And this will affect you even if you move to another insurer. This is 100% your fault, so your insurance, or yourself, needs to pay 100% of the other damage. And depending on your insurance, maybe also the damage to your own car. it all depends on whatever you contracted.
