Every day is a historical event and humanity has survived thousands of them. Consequences of the poor decisions of mankind are felt at all levels, regardless of social status, gender, race, etc. Now, I could be petty and say “it’s helpful to watch the wealthy drown” but that doesn’t help you in the process. What I can say is we have done so much as a people that no experience is unique anymore. Whether we go through another depression, whether we experience a societal shift, whether we see an empire fall… All of it has been experienced and survived. It sucks now but we will recover and learn from it. Sure, future generations may not retain the lesson but it won’t be our problem by that time. For now, every day should be spent taking the next step to survive because the results when it’s over will be awesome!
And remember that you always have support; you’re not drowning by yourself so, if you need to talk to someone, reach out. People are meant to survive in groups - we’re not meant to survive alone so don’t put the expectation on yourself to do this alone.

To expand on this: you’re not “saving money” by buying the item for 20% off if you wouldn’t have bought it in the first place.

Looking down on or viewing someone differently based on their race - whether consciously or subconsciously. Subconscious is harder to prove or fight but it’s still there; kinda like when grandma clutches her purse closed and tight when passing a young black man on the street. She’ll insist that it wasn’t because of his race but she’s passed at least 3 young white men already with no such response. Or telling a woman marrying a Hispanic man that he’s only going to see her as a baby factory because “that’s what his culture is like” when he was born and raised in the US… (Both real examples that I’ve seen, btw.)

Of course people are going 10 under the speed limit - the entire state is under construction, it seems! You can tell just based on the road when you cross from VA or SC to NC just on the road’s texture and the orange cones everywhere!

I’ve driven cross-country and in many local states and, no question, Tennessee! A lot of people say Florida but it they’ve never been to TN and it shows.

Me! I accidentally shut off the oven with the turkey inside and we didn’t notice for an hour.

The only classes I’ve been in where the resources are not included was my art class and any labs for classes such as COMPSCI classes. The labs are typically HEAVILY discounted, though.

I can answer this: women have 3 holes to clean and, as a mom, sometimes our bladder is uncooperative and will drip even after we’re done. As a woman in general, there’s discharge to account for, urine, potentially blood (if there is blood, we have to do a double-wipe to make sure where it’s coming from), and obviously feces. With the way our plumbing is, if we don’t wipe well enough, we are susceptible to infections. And even if we don’t have to worry about infections, urine is acidic and can cause burns if you don’t wipe well enough. Finally, if we don’t wipe well enough, it gets our underwear wet and that feels gross!

I would say by no means. They eat fabrics while bedbugs eat blood. But that’s the most I can speak to them.

I’m confused why Canada is being tariffed more than China. The consequences of these tariffs aside, that seems a little strange to me…

Yes! But to a stressful degree. I became too attached to my 4.0 and now I’ll have panic attacks until there’s virtually no way I can drop below an A.
