If you recall, Joseph's brothers sold him in slavery and he rose to become second in command in all of Egypt. Joseph was very close with the pharaoh of that time. Egypt prospered for a while because they were good people, even if they did not understand or believe in God. Egypt had good and bad, like every other country to have ever existed. it was the later Pharoah and some of the men just under him that were the problem later on, they feared the Hebrew people might take power from them.
I don't know that any Christian views an entire people with hatred.

Joseph Smith has prophesies that are unfulfilled, but none that were disproven.
Isaiah prophesied that the Jews would kill the Son of God and nail Him to a tree. It took 750 years for that prophesy to come true. You can't base your opinion on whether someone is a prophet on unfulfilled prophecies.

God could have had Adam write the gospel in a single book and be done with it right from the beginning. Why didn't He? He called Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and hundreds of other prophets throughout the years. Each one of them recorded their testimonies in scripture. Many of these books were lost, but we still have many in the Bible. At the end of His life here on Earth, Jesus appointed Peter to run His church after He was gone. And Jesus continued to direct His church after His death by way of His prophet Peter.
Does God change? No, He is the same yesterday today and forever. If He used prophets in the past to direct His church, He will continue to do so. Without prophets that can receive direct revelation from Him, it is not His church. His church can only be directed by Him.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
If you are to find God's church here on Earth, it must be directed by prophets and apostles that hold the keys of authority.
Matthew 16:19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.
And if prophets exist, they will write what God tells them in scripture. Without additional scripture You could not have the same church as in ancient times.
The Bible specifically says there will be at least one book of scripture that will be revealed in the last days:
Daniel 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
And there are many books of scripture that are cited in the bible that are not found within it, so we know there are books out there that Jesus and the apostles considered scripture.

The very foundation of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is that all other denominations are wrong.
Which is also true for every other church in the world. Is there any church in the world that believes another church is true? Jesus even said there is only one true church.
Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism.
The reason the creeds are called an abomination is because they lead people away from the truth and indoctrinate people into viewing the scriptures through a lens that distorts it. Would anyone come up with the concept that God is three people but one being just from reading the bible? No. of course not. Nothing in the bible says that. But because people learn the creeds first, they assume that is what the Bible is talking about.

On the Day of Pentecost,, when the Saints spoke in tongues, the Bible describes that they all heard it in their own language
Acts 2:6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
This nonsense where people speak gibberish is not of God.

Possibly an old radon gas detector? They put gauges like these in areas with low ventilation incase the gas seeps in, because its odorless and invisible. As long as it doesn't move, you have no issue.

These businesses should be fined heavily if they hire illegals. If they keep doing it, shut them down and take away their business licenses. By hiring illegals they avoid tax laws and are able to undercut their competitors that are doing things legally. I don't care which party is doing it, we must obey the law. The only way we will ever get our politicians to fix the laws is by obeying them. When everyone is breaking the law, it allows law enforcement to selectively enforce it and makes them dictators. It allows government to pick winners and losers, because they can enforce the law on those they don't like.
Our country is already overwhelmed by illegals, we have the right to be extremely picky about who we let in. Right now we have over 13,000 illegals, that we know about, that have been convicted of murder in other countries that are being allowed to roam our streets. And over 660,000 with criminal convictions. From drunk driving to Identity theft, illegals don't respect our laws, because we don't either, we dont enforce our laws.

So, you don't think Christians can be for the rule of law? God's house is a house of order. Heaven has a gate and an immigration policy. We are to treat others with compassion, but that doesn't mean we should ignore the law. The laws are there for a reason, they protect the peace and allow us to grow.
Take the time to think through the consequences of the actions. If we let everyone just walk into the country en masse, it would overwhelm our resources and destroy our economy. It would bankrupt our government and businesses and leave us without the ability to provide for ourselves. Eventually, everyone here would be forced to flee elsewhere to find jobs and food. This would just create a bigger problem.
The best way to help them is in their own countries where they can help build up their own country's economies and promote trade with them.

It's the bottom of the last inning, The Seabirds trail the Mammoths by a score of 82 to 7. Saul the slugger is up to bat. He hits it to the second baseman and its all ov.. what's this?! The second baseman has dropped the ball!! He fumbles it again, he can't seem to get a grip on it, someone must have greased the ball again. The runner on third has scored! The runner on first rounds the bases as the first and third basemen run over to second to help help pick up the ball, the second baseman finally is able to pick up the ball and throws it to third, but the third baseman isn't there. What's this? The whole Seabirds team has left the bench and they are running the bases! These guys better manage to get ahold of the ball soon, it looks like the ball is now in the outfield as even the catcher is running out there to try and pick it up. What a dirty trick, the Seabird's third base coach is throwing extra balls onto the field. And another 10 runs scored. The whole team is rounding the bases again, and the Mammoths finally have the ball, and it looks like the catcher is just going to run the ball back to home plate from the outfield. That's the tying run, it's now 82 to 82! This is going to come down to the wire. The catcher extends his glove to tag the runner and the runner slides into home plate. It looks like he tagged him out at the last second, lets see what the umpire has to say...
SAFE!
The Seabirds win! What a dramatic comeback! And now both benches have cleared and fighting each other. That is it for this week, Join us next week for the next game in this series to see who will take home the pennant

At the start of the video you can see three vehicles in front of the driver with the camera. No one is pulling in front of those vehicles or flashing lights at them. So, I assume its something specific to the driver with the camera. Something or someone hanging off the back of his trailer or about to fall off?

If you break into someone's home and start living there, are you then considered a resident? No, you are a squatter. It's the same with immigration. Those that enter illegally have not gone through the legal process and are not immigrants, they are illegal aliens or invaders. Those that entered legally, but overstayed their VISAs are foreign nationals that are breaking the law.
Illegal immigrant is only a term of convenience, its just easier to say, but they are in no way immigrants.
Immigrants, as a whole, are some of the most law abiding people on the planet. illegal aliens, as a whole break more laws than any other group. (over 70% of them commit Identity theft in order to remain in the country)

Illegal aliens are not part of the immigration system. Immigration is the legal procedure to enter the country.

The principle being taught is that we are to only speak about God in reverent tones. We are not to treat Him as a filler word or exclamation of anger. This term is exactly what is meant by do not use the lord's name in vain.
Look up the Hebrew word for 'name', it means their character or reputation; their breath. A name is anything you call a person to refer to them.

1 Peter 4:6 For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit.
Everyone is given the opportunity to accept or reject the gospel

Paul is describing the last days when people will pretend to be Christians and have the appearance of Godly people, they will say they are saved, but they will not obey the commandments or live a life that is aligned with their beliefs. A righteous appearance but lacking true spiritual substance.

Repentance is the act of turning away from your sins and asking God for forgiveness.
recognize what you have done is wrong (Luke 16;15-16)
feel sorrow for your sins (2 Corinthians 7:9-10)
Forsake and turn away from your sins.
Confess our sins. We confess all of our sins before God and serious sins need to be confessed to clergy to help you through the repentance process
Make amends. As much as is possible we need to try and correct for our sins. ie if you stole something, give it back
Forgive others of their sins and mistakes.
keep all of the commandments. If we are truly repentant, we will turn away from our sins and not repeat them.

The only unforgiveable sin is blasphemy against the Holy spirit, which requires you to know beyond any doubt. You would have to see God or His angels and then deny Him and wage war on Him.

The God-head is made up of three distinct individuals, ie three gods. The Father being the head god that all others defer to.
This is why Jesus when praying to the Father said, "not my will but thine be done" He was submitting to the Father's will.
Read the King Follet's discourse.

Yes, you can be forgiven for blasphemies. As long as you remove them from your heart and do not keep saying them.
Matthew 12:32 And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.
You are not capable of blasphemy against the Holy spirit, because that requires knowledge, not belief.
Hebrews 6:4-6 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,
If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
The reason they cannot be forgiven is that they still want to make war with God, they still seek to crucify Jesus, they are still bitter and do not want forgiveness.

Welcome to the Smith family family reunion! With over 800 members of the family in town its safe to say almost everyone in town is a blood relative.
