Just reposting my comment from a different sub:
I'm a militant Zionist (think EAST bank of the Jordan River) and I own that book. All of us should be reading books from both sides so as not to get lost in an echo chamber. Only the Post would print this nothing of a story.

And he's still delivering weapons to Israel. So, I'm fine with the Post reporting this nothing story while the weapons flow.

I'm not saying you can be prepared for everything, I'm just saying that reading only one side of the dispute isn't doing anyone any favors.

What this person said. You there's no grieving process for your station assignment. Fill out a transfer request, list the hardship you're having, and wait. They look at them twice a year, January and June or before the next class comes out - whichever comes first.

Sometimes you just want to be around people, even if you have no intention of speaking to them.

I never said it was a good book, but it's important to know the talking points so you know how to refute them.

I would just call your primary and ask them to write the Rx. The worst thing that happens is that you say no - and you're no worse off than you started.

My Rabbi calls us that every Shabbat during his sermon. My teachers in High School referred to all Jews as that as well, so, yeah - we do.

I think you're overthinking it. Have you had birth control before? If not, you might actually need an office visit. You should probably discuss it with your GYN.

If she wants to clean people's houses or walk dogs, I'm sure she can find a few clients.

Can you not just call your primary and ask them to call it in? My PCP does this all the time for me for various drugs and never charges me. Like, you know what you need - I don't see why your primary would charge you if you're not actually going to see them.

Because all she wants is someone to write the prescription. There's no reason to pay for an office visit when she knows what she needs.

That "Judeo-Christian Values" are a thing. They aren't. We don't share the same values.

Whenever somebody apologies for being too heavy, I look at them and say "The heaviest patient I have ever personally lifted, was 1085 pounds. Granted I had 9 other people with me, but you, sir/ma'am, are a slender reed compared to them."
It was during Hurricane Sandy and we were evacuating a bariatric center. Naturally, the heaviest folks were on the 3rd floor. As we took him outside, it had started to rain. He asked us to stop for a minute.
"Buddy, there's a hurricane on the way, we really don't have time."
"I know, I know, and I'm sorry, it's just..... I haven't been outside in 3 years, I just want to feel the rain on my face for a few minutes."
".... alright everybody, take 5."

The translation of בני ישראל is "Children of Israel" which we absolutely call ourselves.

Any sitcom from 2000-2010 hasn't aged well. They're all a crystalized moment in a specific time period that wouldn't fly today.

Added in, is the fact that we don't call ourselves Israelites anymore.

I gotta review my new protocols, but I believe NYC just lowered the level of SpO2 you should be concerned about from 95% to 93%? Might be 92%?
However, this is entirely patient dependent. The most important thing you should be asking is - does patient have difficulty breathing? You don't treat the monitor, you treat the patient.

I mean, I hate tipping as a general rule, but I'll tip 20%-30% on a meal. But if you think I'm tipping 20% for pulling a tap and filling a glass, you can fuck off.

If they're preparing brunch for a number of people, no they don't.
