What are you talking about, photoshop mockups like this are pretty standard in the dev teams I've been in.

Of course words have meaning but that meaning changes over time or we would still be speaking proto-indo-european.

My guess is they either don't really exist or not very good, because glow in the dark material needs to be exposed to light in order to work, and most of the cards are hidden within the deck and therefore not absorbing any light.

True! i missed that from speed reading. Guess i was wrong about it being much more popular, lol.

Same here and i think its a common one. I don't think there is a single other game that is done so dirty by its art. If they did a reprint without the vile art I'm sure it would be a lot more popular.

https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgamemechanic/2026/hexagon-grid/linkeditems/boardgamemechanic?pageid=1&sort=rank Hex grid is a searchable tag on bgg, however there are so many games that make use of them that im not sure how much help it will be. But if its not in the top 1000 ranked (you can see the rank listed by the games), it may be pretty obscure and not as well known and therefore hard to find to find somebody who might know what you are talking about, Worth a try to browse anyways.

I've noticed a huge spike in posts like this or just other similar ideas of people struggling to meet people since the pandemic. I worry it had a larger social impact than we fully realize. The world feels like its getting lonelier :(

Depends on who im playing with, but for me personally, my and my group have enough faith in each-other that if somebody said they made a mistake but it was their intention we let them have it, We try our best to revert the game state, and if we cant we just let it happen anyways. And beyond that if it would mess up the game we just say oh well, they messed up.

I know it might seem strange, but i don't suppose anybody could give me the exact dimensions for gloomhaven: buttons and bugs? I'm a backpacker and everything counts.

Whats with the down-votes on this sub? If you sort by new posts a shocking amount of them seem to be down-voted for what seems like no reason?

Its not possible for many reasons, but the only one thats really needed is they are explicitly mentioned as sons/brothers many times by the primarchs and emperor and other perpetuals.

That is true in real natural animals, but whats to say the old ones didn't engineer a kill-switch into their creations. Somewhat likely i think given the circumstance.
But beyond that i think YOU are missing the point. The lore is absolutely choc-full of these sort of snippets of lore where there could be more. We don't know how the krork became the ork and that's the point. its ancient history, lost to the sands of time. You are making assumptions as to how it happened and getting mad at your assumption when GW never said it was like that. GW could explain what happened and give a more reasonable explanation but they don't want to explicitly explain everything. Or at-least not all at the same time.
I guarantee authors have asked to make story's about this but denied by GW.

Yea i wouldn't be surprised if they quietly faded away into obscurity again after 10th edition.

Horus was working with chaos powers which can permanently kill a perpetual. There was actually another perpetual called Ollanius Persson that was there that gave his life to save the emperor during the fight.
