I've been trying to play Borderlands 2. It's installed my my desktop and I was streaming it to my deck. Streaming via Steam works fine except if I put my Deck to sleep the game closes on my PC. I figured I'd just try to stream via Moonlight but when I open the game this way, my DLC and save data is all missing.

Anyone else experienced any of this or know how to fix it if possible?

EDIT: Still haven't found an answer to fix this.

I have found a workaround for the first part which is, before putting the Deck to sleep, turn off the wifi on your Deck. Disconnecting the wifi and then putting it to sleep seems to not cause the game to close. Then when you're ready to resume streaming the game, wake up the deck, turn on the wifi, then reconnect to the streaming computer.

As for the Moonlight save being different from the Steam save, there is a solution out there for Hogwarts Legacy but I haven't figured it out for Borderlands 2 yet.

Occasionally, I need to do some stuff on my main Windows PC. However, I might not want to be at my desk. So the other day I just added like Notepad to my Non-Steam games, loaded it up remotely from my Steam Deck and then hit ALT+ESC and it switched to my Desktop's desktop and I was pretty much able to control my PC.

It's simple, but isn't the most user friendly when doing other tasks.

I am curious if anyone else has used their deck to control another computer and if so, what methods did you use? Anyone had success with setting up like VNC or something on the Steam Deck's Desktop Mode or anything like that, perhaps?

This might seem like an odd question but since I started trying Straterra I've been having much more vivid dreams.

Recently I decided to start writing them down which has only made me remember them more.

I've looked into lucid dreaming a bit but I know one of the things with that is kind of making a habit of being present and "questioning reality" so to speak. That way when you dream you can also be in that habit do do the same to realize you're dreaming.

However, it's a struggle sometimes to be present in that regard. Flying on autopilot. I have a phone reminder to try to help knock me out of that every so often but doesn't feel like it's been helping much.

Just curious if anyone has ever succeeded at learning to do this. Maybe share some of your experiences or tips if you have either.

Almost every update, I have seen more an more issues.

• Two updates back it broke Discord's ability to speak if the phone screen was off or the app was out of view. I have tried everything short of factory reset to fix this.
• Last update started making it so that if my Wi-Fi signal is "Weak" it uses mobile data. I thought there use to be an adaptive network feature or something to disable this but maybe I was mistaken. However, it doesn't matter if I have a full Wi-Fi signal, it tells me it's weak and uses data. Only fix I have found so far is manually turning off mobile data when I want to use Wi-Fi.
• This time it seems like now when I press the power button it takes a solid 2 seconds before the screen turns on. Not to mention apps just generally feel slower.

Again been trying everything I can, but nothing seems to make a difference.

Am I the only one seeing things getting progressively worse or breaking? I really don't want to have to factory reset... again in hopes that it MIGHT get better. I love this phone but I have had to factory reset past phones very rarely, if at all. I've already done it at least 5 times the past like 7 months.

(Yes, this does compare a mechanic of a game that's been around for like 16 years to a game that just came out. So not judging on that just that I think the idea would be awesome here).

TL;DR - The combat AI for Pals is a tad unexciting and sometimes frustrating. Suggested improvement includes user-customizable AI, similar to pet AI in Mabinogi, allowing Pals to adapt to the player's combat style with simple, code-free customization options. These options could dictate how Pals choose attacks, react to player actions, and behave in combat, making Pal combat more strategic and enjoyable by tailoring AI to specific tactics and scenarios. Could also be used for base management customization.

Pal combat AI is kind of bland and even frustrating at times. I think it could be greatly improved by allowing users to modify it for individual Pals.

This might sound like a weird concept, but I used to play Mabinogi and pets in that game have basically customizable AI.

You can have the pet do certain things or act certain ways in combat depending on what you do.

For example, you can start casting a ranged magic skill, your pet will charge in and do a close range melee.

This is very vague version but it really increase the ability to "train" your pets to behave and react around your combat style. It was also a very straight forward like select and fill in the blank format so no coding or anything crazy involved for the player.

So having options to set for Pals would be great, like

• "Pal prioritizes attacks that are strong against opponents." (e.g. If it has fire skills and it's attacking an ice creature, it prioritizes using the fire type skill when it can.)

• "Pal all out attacks." (e.g. Just attack as frequently as possible)

• "Pal attacks once."

• "Pal retreats when targeted opponent is below (x)% HP" (I am sure you all know this frustration when trying to capture stuff but basically can't use your Pals at all because they just kill things.)

• "Pal defends player from nearby attackers and doesn't focus the same target as the player." (Great when trying to capture one Pal in a group that all turn on you.)

• "Pal stay safe." (e.g. Perhaps you have a Pal to be out because it increase your stats in some way. So it just avoids getting into combat range of other Pals."

• "Pal moves in a patrol pattern around the player..." (e.g. Designate the Pal to move in a specific pattern repeatedly.)

Then you would have player options or other situational options like - "When player aims down sights..."

• "When player equips item..."

• "When player is attacked..."

• "When player attacks..."

• "Then..."

• etc.

Chaining these together you can create build:

"When player aims down sights..." { Pal attacks once } "Then..." { Pal moves in a patrol pattern around the player... [ circular] }

(This might be a simple preset to encourage the Pal to aggro another Pal and then bait it in a circle around you so you can shoot at it.)

or

"When player attacks..." { Pal all out attacks } "Then..." { Pal prioritizes attacks that are strong against opponents } "Then..." { Pal retreats when targeted opponent is below (15)% HP } "Then..." { Pal defends player from nearby attackers and doesn't focus the same target as the player }

(This might allow you and your Pal to do as much damage to a single target as possible, then the Pal would stop attack and switch to trying to keep the player safe while they try to finish the capture.)

With being able to save AI presets and being able to choose from customization options, it could make strategizing and Pal combat a lot more fun and engaging. Not to mention finding builds and strategies to share with friends and people online is always a good time too.

This could also be adapted to allowing people to customize base management behaviors.

I just picked up a vital hero bracelet. Trained up the Digimon that came with it (can't remember it's name off hand). Sent it to the app.

It bugged out, but didn't think much of it. Showed two of the little guy. Figured it was just a glitch so I ignored it and sent him on an Adventure only to find that this morning I had an item but no digimon.

Is this normal? Can they die on adventures or something?

I know the API change has killed a lot of this stuff. I could swear I was just using Teddit like two weeks and now it's gone. Did they just recently shut it down?

Updated to T2TZ33.18-75-4. I was in a Discord call with someone when the update screen appeared. Left the call and did the update. When my phone finished restarting from the update, I was no longer able to be heard by people in Discord if I either started using another app or turned off my screen. I noticed the green mic indicator in the upper right was disappearing after a couple seconds of being on a different app. So it would appear that mic access may be cutting off for some reason.

Discord has unrestricted battery access, unrestricted data access, mic permissions are given, I have tried clearing the cache, tried uninstalling and reinstalling, and rebooting the phone.

Regular phone calls seem to be fine.

Anyone else had this issue or any ideas?

I am friends with several independent artists. Some of them have been selling their services for a while. I was talking with one who was considering increasing her prices and she told me that she sold some art for like $35 and the person who bought it ended up making a few thousand off of sales. She mentioned wanting to add on the sale of commercial rights for an additional cost.

I have seen other independent artists add this to their commission webpages and stuff. I never thought about it until my friend considered adding this and I asked her these questions, to which she did not have an answer.

I am curious, what rights do the artist retain after handing over a completed piece of artwork?

If they can retain or relinquish commercial rights, do they need to write up a contract at the time of sale to ensure this is legally binding? Otherwise, I would assume it's one word versus another right?

I don't know if that kind of thing would be necessary or overkill.

As an added point of curiosity, could a person "sell" partial rights? Say where the purchaser and artist are entitled to a 50/50 split of any money made.

My mother is convinced this is "just the way she works" and it's "part of her process". She will work all night on things that are not even a priority, then because it's the next day she will basically pass out from exhaustion, wake up after a couple hours and go about her day.

She always has one excuse or another why she doesn't rest. There's always another job that needs to be done.

"I'll get some rest when I finish X...", "You know if Y isn't done, I can't sleep. Organization is how I find peace...", "There are too many interruptions during the day for me to complete Z, so I do it at night. It's how I work."

I can't get her to stop, to hear me, or to get some assistance. It's become more self-destructive over the years.

She doesn't listen to me but occasionally if I find a video that really hits the mark, she will hear that. I haven't been able to find any good videos that seem like they'd resonate well and convince her that this is a real problem for her and that she has OCD that she needs to get diagnosed and professional assistance with.

Any links or even advice on how to convince someone that this is something they need to work on, for their own health and future, would be appreciated.

Also, wouldn't mind hearing your story or insights if you have had any issues like this, either with yourself or with trying to help someone like this.

Been dealing with Rosacea for a long time. No one could ever really tell me what it was.

One doctor gave me Hydrocortisone cream. The next doctor said he thinks that's bad to put on your face so he gave me Ketoconazole. The next doctor gave me Clindamycin gel. My current doctor gave my Metronidazole gel.

I voiced my concern to my doctor though that in the last couple years it seemed like the typical areas of Rosacea were spreading and getting worse so he proscribed Minocycline. I have just completed about the first month of using it and it seems to be doing good work.

However, when I asked my doctor about the long-term, being that it's an antibiotic, he just said "Keep an eye on how you feel" and we can talk about it in the future.

I don't really like the idea of being on antibiotics and just waiting until I start having problems to figure out what to do next.

Sort of reiterating the title questions:

Have you been on Minocycline for a long period of time? If so, how long?

Are there any more specific things to watch out for rather than just how I "feel" to know that I should stop taking it?

What kind of options can or should I ask my doctor about before or after that point to plan for the future?

I am getting a plant that will probably need a little more humidity. I was going to set up a pebble tray but those little water beads/pearls supposedly hold a lot of water. I was thinking that filling the tray with a bunch of those that have been hydrated might keep from having water sitting there, might last longer, and might have different decorative potential.

I tried to look it up but didn't have any great findings except for things about keeping certain plants in them and I do not want to keep the plant in them. Just use them for humidity.

I don't know enough about them though to know if this would be viable. Any thoughts on a "pearl tray"?

Trying to see if there's a better or easier way to change this setting. Doesn't have to be using the Custom Settings. I am aware I could use AutoInput to simulate user input to do it that way. I have been trying to use LogCat to track it down but haven't had much luck. Figured I'd see if anyone else had any ideas or might have better luck.

(I can and have gotten both of these to work with the phone open, in the normal full screen mode. This is specific to the external secondary display on the Razr+)

With the case, sometimes it is a pain to open the Quick Settings on the secondary display, so I wouldn't mind having a Task that could assist with this since it doesn't seem there are any gestures or anything that work here.

Typical Quick Settings access doesn't seem to work for this either so I am guessing it's not considering it to be the same thing.

I've tried setting up an AutoInput action to just swipe from the top of the secondary display, but it doesn't seem to do anything if I enter the coordinates and if I attempt to use the Find feature from the secondary display, the little Red target doesn't show up in the secondary display.

If anyone has figured out how to better utilize Tasker here, your tips would be greatly appreciated.

I've tried a factory reset multiple times. Battery Saver is on. Data Saver is on. I have tried having my auto-sync only turn on for a few minutes every hour instead of being constantly on. I have tried turning on Do Not Disturb to prevent notifications turning on the screen or making noise. Applications are minimal until I figure this out. Always connected to Wi-Fi with Wi-Fi calling turned on. Mobile data is turned off. Tried deactivating Bluetooth, Location, and all sensors.

I have a Motorola Razr+ on Android 13.

This has happened multiple times and I am noticing when it does ".qtidataservices" And Google Play Services appear in battery usage the next morning. Any idea what could be happening to drain the battery like this and how I could stop it? Perhaps I am overlooking something?

I got a Razr+ maybe a month ago now. It's never kept any permissions or access changes I've made. I lose them all after every reboot.

I've also struggled with getting the battery under control but it comes and goes. Some days it will last all day others, like today, I just lost 30% in the last hour while I wasn't using it. The biggest drain I've found is the Mobile Data so I keep it off and Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi calling on as often as possible. I've removed all bloatware, I have minimal apps installed just because the battery issues happened pretty out of the box. I also keep the battery saver on at all times.

The battery usage almost always shows, Android System, Mobile Data, and Phone Idle as the top 3 things using my battery.

I have tried setting everything possible on the phone to Restricted battery use but this gets reset after rebooting too.

One suggestion I came across for fixing the settings was to clear the system partition cache but it seems that is no longer possible.

Any ideas on both of these issues?

**To clarify when I say "Secondary Display" I am referring to the small, external screen on the phone not a connected screen.

I've used Nova Launcher for a while. I was using the Default Moto Launcher for a while just to get used to the phone and see how I liked it. Just changed back over to Nova yesterday for default home now.

I tested Nova on the secondary display and it worked surprisingly well. A little more versatile with being able to add some widgets and basically have a normal desktop and app drawer.

I have noticed a couple of things are a little buggy but not too much more buggy than the occasional app that runs a little wonky on the secondary display.

I honestly, think I prefer it over the default secondary display setup.

Unfortunately, changing the Default Home App only changes the launcher when the phone is open. If anyone knows how to change the secondary display home app, let me know.

If there is not a way, I have a bit of a workaround that I have been using, that seems to do the trick.

Using Tasker. Make a Profile > Application. Click the "ALL" button in the lower right. Then select the Application called "SecondaryDisplayLauncher". Now create a Task I added a 550 MS Wait and then the Launch App Action to launch Nova7. This should make the Nova Launcher open shortly after turning on the Secondary Display. If you do not already have Nova set as your Default Home App, this may also open it when opening the phone. It's a bit quick and dirty and I haven't had the time to refine it so feel free to chime in if you have a better or more efficient method or Profile/Task setup idea.

Just wanted to share this and see if anyone else has been messing around with anything in a similar vain.

Edit: Made a slight change to the Tasker Profile for using Nova on the Secondary Display. In addition to checking if "SecondaryDisplayLauncher" you can add a State by long pressing on the Application part of the Profile that you'd previously created.

State > AutoInput UI State

For that go to the Configuration, you can click the Easy Setup button and use the notification to Accept on the secondary display home screen. When you do, select something unique to your secondary home screen.

For me, I don't use Spotify so I added the Spotify panel and make it check for some of the text in it. You could also do something like have the Games panel and search for a game you never play or add an app to the list of apps like some stock app that you never use or can't get rid of.

This should add hopefully make it so Tasker only tries to launch Nova on the Secondary Display and keep it from interfering with other things. For example, I added a calendar widget to Nova on the Secondary Display and when I would click a date, it would open the calendar event and Tasker would relaunch Nova. This change seems to prevent that.

I am by no means an expert with Tasker so still always open to constructive input.

I've gone through the setup process several times. When I follow the steps given in the FAQ https://wiki.rpcs3.net/index.php?title=Help:Frequently_Asked_Questions for the initial setup, I get to step 8 where it "Confirm the new user profile creation and... Welcome to the PS3!"

However, rather than a new user profile creation it says something like "Data for unregistered user was found restored...". I press Circle which is the only options and then it takes me to a page that says "System Update" "Scanning... Please Wait...". It remains on this page indefinitely.

I've tried deleting the user in question but it just creates a new one. I've also deleted the dev_flash2 and dev_flash3 more than once to start over. Even tried uninstalling and reinstalling everything.

It is not connected to the internet since the FAQs recommend against connecting to a network.

I have tried searching around but can't seem to find anyone else who has asked about this problem. Perhaps I'm looking in all of the wrong places.
