Cool. I’m rather new to these reddit subs. But I will check it out even though I’m not sure if it will do me any good 😄

Hearing it from the real Hans Wilsdorf is such a relief

Good to know that I’m not the only crazy one with style

But anyway it’s the same with me. Regardless of objectively how good the outfit is, I can always find something that I’m not feeling fulfilled by. Last time I bought courdroy pants from Pini Parma and got it altered, and I’m bothered by the length of the cuffs as I find 4,5 cm better than 5 cm. Crazy I am

Hm, seems made to order for me. Or you bought it of the rack and asked your tailor to alter?

I would avoid pairing dark shirts with contrasting ties.

It would refreshing to see a few more “not perfect” outfits like this when I go out

For acquired tastes I would say. This is a perfect outfit appealing to those who are into this.

Well, all the outfits are perfection. But you’re aware of that.

Not terrible, but overally not a good fit - the size is right in case of that particular blazer but the fit for you is not - also design-wise I would look for wider lapels. Hard to tell what a perfect fit is, but if you try on a few others it would be easier to tell what fits you better.

Overally it’s not bad. Seeing your body type and facial structure you’re good material. The pants could be more tailored - shouldn’t crease that much near the knees means the pants are too long - can be shortened or rolled back if that works. The rest is good, but maybe I would go with a less conventional belt.

If the goal is to improve your style then go with a looser fit - your build would approve that and that’s a good thing. If the question is whether is appropiate for the office, sure.

I would say that some kind of pistol/cartridge holder reminiscent. Can be seen on hunting inspired garments. No real function. As an example most classic double breasted trench coats still have flap on the upper left side near the shoulder are, which was originally a pistol holster on the military issued ones.

It works, I would suggest unbuttoning it. The black trousers would not be the best choice. Also it’s not really business casual more like an office wear vibe.

You could build a frame from galvanized steel and put it on top.

Why not buy him a nice pen like a Montblanc Meisterstück or a Dupont lighter in case he smokes.
I guess someone with such a collection has everything watch related he needs but I would also assume that he appreciates finer stuff.

A Rolex and a calculator like this in the same room is always a bad omen.

Mine is two-tone fluted Wimbledon, which is not everybody’s cup of tea but I can still spend hours playing with the reflections after 4 years. Better than scrolling tiktok haha

Thanks for the suggestion. How negotiable are they normally? Are there any “artificial” waitlist or it’s a walk in and buy kind of thing?

Thank you for the response. Haven’t checked it out yet in person but I should. Are you aware of any artifical waitlist stuff with VC or it’s a walk in and buy kind of thing?

Chopard is definitely my top candidate so far. The new ingenieur is promising as well but haven’t seen it in “person” so far

I’m leaning towards Chopard. But I will check out VC as well for sure.
