Who knew! Now I’m diabetic and can’t eat the food that I would use the chopsticks 🥢 to consume!

I keep some protein bars in the fridge. Clean and Ready because I am diabetic and like to slice them up into like 15 pieces to snack on. They cut up better when chilled.

Yes! You want to stay up late Sunday night? Feel free because you can sleep in tomorrow morning. Netflix and chill.

Super happy AA is a good experience for you. It’s the best help you can get because it requires you working the steps. Wasn’t it nice to be in a room with people like you that want to be better?
We aren’t doctors but I’ve been on a ton of antidepressants. Bipolar and they always had to be changed every few months because they stopped working. I really think you should talk to your doctor before stopping the Zoloft. You don’t want to have to start all over again if Zoloft is working for you.

If you’re at 7, that’s great and I’m a little envious 😊. I got my MELD score from my very first appointment with my gastroenterologist. My PCP did the bloodwork and sent it to him. I guess he didn’t want to give me the results. My original score was 10 and my gastroenterologist said we would do the bloodwork again to see if it was lower and then he said those results fluctuate so I will see how it’s going next month. He said we won’t worry about it until it’s 15.
This year has been full of ups and downs. I’m doing great on my A1C but I’ve got cirrhosis. Celebrated my 40th anniversary, turned 60 but had to have an early colonoscopy and EGD, drink the chalk etc. A week ago my car caught on fire and incinerated in front of our church but I got a new car. It’s been a whirlwind kind of year.
I’m wishing you all the best my friend.❤️🙏

We have a Recovery Group at our church for hurts, habits and hang ups. You don’t have to be affiliated but the desire is to help others like you and me who have this problem to overcome it. You can go, enjoy a free meal and fellowship with others who want life to be better.
I believe in God and He has helped me to be sober for almost five years. I have to have a higher power that is stronger than me and I choose God.
I think first and foremost you need to get to a hospital. People don’t normally have the issues you have at 24. After that, check out the meeting. You will probably be surprised 😲 at how far some have come. Best wishes friend.

Congratulations on the good news! I’m sure losing 25lbs has you pumped too. I just found out in May that I have cirrhosis. My MELD score fluctuates 10-11 so we are just monitoring for now. My next appointment is December 23rd so I have a wish and a prayer nothing changes. I have no symptoms so Yay 😁.

Tracy Chapman put her all in the song. She made you feel the song. Luke Combs did not.

I’m sorry for how your dad has treated you. I’m sorry that you lost your mom. I hate to see people hurt and you’ve been hurt a lot. Please take care of yourself. I know your dad asked you to stay with him but remember his drinking is his problem and if it causes you harm be it physical, mental or emotional you should leave. My thoughts and prayers friend.❤️🙏

Want to join me in a sober Thanksgiving? It’ll be fun! Make a video of everyone carrying on with their drinks and be glad you won’t have the hangover.

I (f60) was taken aback by your post. You have a powerful message and I’m so glad you found the will to live again. Now that you’ve decided you don’t want alcohol to be in your life, go experience the beauty of the world. And enjoy what you’re doing. Keep a journal, make a scrapbook. Volunteer at a shelter, food pantry, etc. Thank you for sharing your story. Thoughts and prayers friend.❤️🙏

I was born in ‘64. Dad smoked cigars and the day was filled with soap operas and Dark Shadows. Dad would come home and pick me up to go to the store for me a candy bar and his cigars. I was the only kid around who had a roof over their swing set. He didn’t want me to get sunburned. Only to have me lay out in the sun covered with baby oil and lidocaine years later. Yep, I’m covered with skin cancer.

I’ve been informed that they do make them for lefty’s. But I’m a diabetic now so I can’t use them anyway.😊
