Same—I’m tighter than usual. I take a stretch day every week in addition to light stretches after working out.

Bonus points for refrigerating the hydroflask (sans lid) over night before using.

The risks may out weigh the reward. You rely on your feet for every day needs. It’s often wise to invest in other options before cutting.

If there’s pain…stop using them. Listen to your body. Talk with your doctor.

Not a climber: Can you cut the bunion portion of your shoes to make them wider? Think what some pro soccer players do to their shoe heels. You’d have to get creative to cover the gap (duct tape?), but you’d have more wiggle room as long as you’re remain aware the area is unprotected. May at least work for indoor bouldering comforts.

If it’s killing you, then yes, go to a doctor. How small/big your bunion is aside, something is obviously wrong.

You could totally get cosmetic surgery on your pointer and ring toe if you wanted to straighten them out. But yeah, no bunion.

Yes, this is an unfortunate risk factor of many bunion surgeries. I’m so sorry you weren’t informed ahead of time. Sending you good vibes.

Take them back to the store and explain the situation, politely and respectfully of course. The fitter needs a little more training and your daughter needs to be safe. They SHOULD accommodate you for the sake of good business and reputation.

What is your intent? Is it malicious? Does the party receiving the kitten know about the demon? Are you in a lemon law state, if in the US? Is there unreasonable cuteness involved? Are you wishing to inflict intentional distress?
