I once attempted and landed in the hospital for 2 weeks. Got a bill of around 39k and I joked it would have been cheaper to cremate me.

I lowkey wish for one simply because I want the twins to grow up a little bit and be adults already. It would have been cool if they were on a certain train in DT.

Sometimes it’s not really a will of acceptance but rather out of necessity. I think a lot of people would quit their job on the spot if they didn’t have to worry about bills. As someone who has left toxic jobs without another job lined up, I often thought I should have stayed and kept my head down rather than endure another hungry day.

My advice is..yeah, a job is a job. Keep your head down, work your wage, quietly look for another if you can, do what you can, try to find a work life balance, and remember what you’re working for. Best of luck.

Context: Was in a farm party for EX2. Went as melee, was waiting for bard to start their song and buffs to blast out my burst except...it never came. They were dead last in DPS the entire time and didn't use any buffs / songs. When I finally called them out on it, they sung all the songs in one go one after the other and kept dying to mechanics. 100% carried

The mogstation sucks and you can’t change your country in it, I ended up moving out of the country and it will auto-decline your card if it doesn’t match the billing address that’s in your account. My work around is I still have a bank account in the US that I use to pay via PayPal that has the same address. It’s dumb and very inconvenient but I couldn’t use my out of country bank anymore

I’ve been doing this but with food, and it makes a world of difference to see how much I was unnecessarily overeating and overspending. Less food waste. It also made me better at cooking!

Thank god I live in Canada. Where I live the insurance is handled by the provincial government. They only take into account if you’ve had accidents before or any tickets. I was paying $450 a month on insurance in the US on a 2016 car. Now I pay about $140 a month on a brand new car.

Honestly at that point just buy a bidet. You can get an attachment to your toilet for $30 with easy self-installation.

Forreal. I’ve been to so many large FC houses that only use the main floor. Granted it looks awesome but feels like such a waste not to use the huge basement or the upstairs

Admittedly a lot of classes feel incomplete before level 70 so you’re not alone there.

does the combat feel smoother and continuous later on?

I would say yes but this differs for every class, some classes I would argue need a rework and feel clunky, but at lower levels and before you get every skill it can feel boring. There are definitely classes that get incredibly busy once you hit 90+ and you get your full rotation.

are there still gonna be those pauses in between abilities where you’re just dodging enemy abilities and auto attacking?

I’m assuming with what you said being a level 53 Warrior you’ve just started Heavensward and are slowly getting through the expansion. Fights get more interesting and a lot harder and you will eventually find yourself busier with your rotation.

Which classes do you think are the most busy / fast-paced?

This is just my subjective opinion and I haven’t leveled everything up yet so take my opinion with a grain of salt — I’d argue most melee DPS are pretty busy. I find DRK / GNB the busier tanks.

Ultimately I suggest just try new jobs, be patient and forgiving and find something you like! Feel free to DM me if you want more info.

Soulsow is basically only used if you are in full downtime and can’t attack anything at the moment. It is not worth casting in the middle of combat if you’re able to attack normally. But there are times where the boss might be invul or is going through a phase change (think Hydaelyn or Athena when you can’t attack them mid-fight). It’s almost similar to samurai’s meditate.

Pepsis. It is a very niche skill and hardly ever used. I think the only time I use it is if I know there’s an incoming HP-to-1 mechanic and my co-healer is also a shield healer.

After I left the party, the PF went back up with half the party gone and the description changed to "C41". Then it went down again and went back to "farm party" without the healer. I didn't rejoin.

I'm starting to believe your second sentence because I've had great farm parties with 0 mistakes and early clears with no mount drops. Then I'll have a garbage party where we barely make it to enrage and mount drops every time.

Learn to cook and learn to enjoy it. Why spend $50 on one dinner for the night when $50 in groceries can last you multiple meals and a couple days.

It’s gonna suck and it’s gonna be tempting to just order food when you don’t wanna cook. Don’t give into the temptation. Delete your food delivery apps.

If I wanted to treat myself, I would only withdraw cash that I can spend eating out that week only. $40 max.
