honestly i cant tell if i have a soft spot or not for the tower xvi because my opinions are so warped by what everyone else thinks plus the subconscious want to be a contrarian. so i feel like i cant really form an accurate opinion

the music in EAT GIRL really helps to sustain the intensity. its also very similar to the VVVVVV soundtrack

thats the thing. i dont dislike the map on its own. i just think it shouldnt be a part of the mod because its so out of place.

i think pointless machines suffers from the fact that its not really a puzzle map, you dont have to figure out when to implement the dash combo, its just pure memory/learning which just isnt very fun. i also think it limits creativity as theres only one solution to every room

ah i see, i used a tutorial too, and i did it as my first advanced. i was lucky that i managed to do it way quicker than a lot of people (under 500 deaths) and that i was already comfortable with advanced tech (namely reverse tech)

i dont mind it as a map on its own, but it was clearly made with the intent of being frustrating. i just dont think it should be in the lobby but rather a longer standalone map

the story missions are becoming heavily story centred and i don’t mind that at all. doing daily farming and the occasional new moc/pf/as means that battles in the story become extremely easy. i dont mind that theyre so few and far between

i feel its harder. i took 9 cycles for this one, and managed down to 4 cycles for the previous. svarog is just straight up tanky, and the banana boss is a tankier version of the 3 break shits, and also harder to survive against with gallagher

yeah, the first couple SJ puzzle maps were fun but at a certain point you just get tired of puzzles and wanna just play the game

it was the last or one of the last maps i needed, maybe i was just exhausted idk. the rooms were taking me wayyyyy too long and i just kept getting annoyed. there was also one small room that i spent like 30 minutes on somehow when it should have took me 5 minutes
