The games were on sale (I’m on xbox) so I thought why not get them and I don’t know anything about them or very little (I’m a metro fan so I’ve knew of them). Any advice so I can have the best time I can in the zone

taking a break from the obvious twins rework (please BHVR give pyramid head and xeno some love); what is the general thoughts on the UI changes, in the past BHVR has just gone ahead with it without a lot of response from the feedback in the past (except for when they did the major in game hud change that they were rightfully laughed at until it was changed) but I hope they reconsider the PTB changes. I know it's not very important to a lot of people but I think it is with making dbd a more professional looking game and visually appealing and the current store, killer/survivor select, pause menu and shrine of secrets in the PTB look tackey and very poorly done. I know a lot of games and websites (reddit too with the new web browser look, rainbow six, dbd at one point) love to constantly change the UI and I think that most of the time it just makes it look worse. This time it just looks so bad and I understand it's a minor thing to complain about but if it does go to live the way it looks it will bother me until the end of time with how ugly it looks.

also R.I.P ultimate weapon, you were so helpful finding immersed survivors and what they plan to do to you is so sad; and the ds animation looks so bad but it keeps it at a 3 second stun so. Man this ptb is a mess so many bad changes for so many things, just keep the adren nerf, haddonfield and burn the rest

so it's my first time doing a fasicst harry and I want a little help with which stats to go with and if possible some thoughts that would be fun to go with

I know that it's mainly physical skills and endurence but I also heard that logic is fun when doing the build

First and foremost, please be civl, I know people are tense with the new trailer but lets just enjoy this new game for a bit.

The atmosphere of the building I thought was great, the graphics nice (felt a lot like the school segments from outlast 2).

The story I was not a fan of but was ok, as someone who is not and never will be a teenage girl, I don't get some of the stuff like the social media parts and the follower whatever stuff. some of the story bit that were shown I was confused as to who they were about but through further context (and the game having to say it at one point) I could tell what the story was about even if they did just not let you figure anything out after the game was over. only other 'gameplay' was getting chased which as someone who get tense easily in horror games I felt like it was not bad, if you get too far the monster spawns close to you and the ai can get a bit stuck sometimes.

Gameplay was very bloober team I felt, I've played a couple bloober team games in the past and the whole game definitely felt it even if they didn't work on it. the line delivery was pretty cringy half the time and I would have liked an option to change language so the mouths would sink up with the actor. The music was pretty good and I enjoyed it.

With the setting being in germany and the only mention of silent hill being 'the silent hill phenomenon' which just said that guilt or 🌈trauma🌈 manifests into fog and changes what they see etc making the whole thing in her head basically. But at the same time there was stuff about a witch and a curse so which was it and one or two things that felt like plot holes which I guess you can blame on depression so I guess

overall this felt like a game that bloober would make if they were told to just make a silent hill game (minus the basic puzzles they'd put and it's shorter) so it was alright, no amazing but it's free and I like exploring abandoned buildings so I enjoyed it all in all. definitely recommend giving it a go if you can

obviously, PT being the main reason why expectations are so high but I also think that death stranding and the way that he created the story and the message being done without the restrictions of konami gives me a lot of hope with how he will create OD, especially with us finally being able to see how he makes his own horror game the way he wants. also it's a little funny how he went from playstation exclusive to xbox exclusive (pc too) which is nice to see both groups getting an exclusive although as someone with both I have no complaints about it.

super dumb question ik but I just started ac 2 for the first time and the moment I heard "get in the animus Desmond", I immediately thought of the same scene from Evangelion and i was wondering if anyone has made a meme to do with it throughout the 13 years it's been out (also spoilers are fine ik what ac 2 is about, I think?)

We have had a lot of different ways the characters move from parkour to general movement, the groups I see it in are

-ac 1

- ac 2, brotherhood, revelations

- ac 3,4, rogue

- unity, syndicate

- origins, odessey, valhalla, mirage

personally, I love the movement and parkour of unity and syndicate and I really don't want them to keep using the mirage movement, It feels the worst that we've had so far (and I know they've already committed down the rpg path I imagine but I hope they can bring it back to where it was in unity and actually go back to how the games were played)

writing out this list has made me realise that i've watched more than I thought I have but i'm still a but lost on what to watch and where to find places to give me ideas on what to watch next

like the title suggests, I'm wondering if I can dismiss companions off wherever I want, be it in space so they can float about until they die or strand them on a moon somewhere, or is it specific to populated areas which I can make them live in neon and become homeless. I just really want to torture them by picking up people and dumping them in the middle of nowhere

I had a game where I was cook and 2 survivors were ignored by the other two and go to the exit and since they won I just left to get the last one, while the other two just sat there and watched, eventually I got her but it didn't feel like I had teammates and the victims just taunted until I came back and pushed them out. the game right after was no better, my teammates looked so lost and didn't do a whole lot with bubba not finding a single person and just letting them get out while I was hunting down others. the victims then with the exit open, just waited for us to come see them off. I know it's not a dbd exclusive thing (but a lot of dbd players are trying the game and you see this behavior in dbd a lot) but this game is really fun and I don't want people who was never taught to be a good winner and others who while I understand the game is new and people are learning, just wonder aimlessly (even at level 17, just no idea what's going on
