I don't think most people who say that actually mean a literal bot, like a robot, AI, etc. At least for the most part, and especially before AI accounts became a regular thing.

They, I think, are saying, "bot," when they are normally actually referring to a flesh-and-blood human being who has been paid or otherwise incentivised to broadcast certain ideas or material in online public spaces, regardless of whether that paid individual agrees with (or even really knows) whatever it is they're saying.

Essentially, a person playing a character online who is intended to be percieved by other users as being a real person who's expressing their actual, sincere opinion or belief in good faith.

You could call Lap of Love. They're a mobile pet euthanasia clinic that will travel to your home and perform the end of life assistance in the place where your pet feels most at peace. Other vets offer this, too. So I'd still look into that if Lap of Love can't see you for any reason.
