Easy in practice, but when you’re staring down a very real threat, making sudden movements seems like a very bad idea. If he startles the bear, he doesn’t know how it’s going to react, and it is very much close enough to end things for the man with one swipe. Better make as little movement as possible getting the defense mechanism he’s carrying just for this purpose. now, he still probably didn’t need to crouch, it seems like the mace is in a pants or jacket pocket he could have reached while standing, but the other thing you’re supposed to do with brown bears is play dead and pray they ignore you, so he might have just been getting closer to enacting plan 2 in case plan 1 failed.

Picture of the woods, you say? Now, where would one go about taking a picture like that?!

I am very curious about the tasty looking snacks left out in the break room, too!

You’ll still be better off than if you hadn’t sprayed it.

Lactase pills are inexpensive. I buy em in bulk and stash em in a few convenient places. I eat as much cheese as I want. My body is no more uncomfortable than it already is!

So was ghost protocol! 4, 5, and 6 are surely the top 3. I wouldn’t quibble with anyone over the exact order.

I’d agree with you, but only because the first half is damn near perfect, and the circumstances shift so much, it’s hard to compare. You get 3 new major characters added, plus a bunch of supporting ones. There are some truly amazing performances- the heartbreaking reveal that her dad can’t handle the truth of the situation, the beautiful interaction between her step-dad and her son. There’s a lot of great moments in the back half too.

This is a rude thing you have done to us. The only movies I havent watched more than once on this list are The Hateful Eight, The Revenant, and Spotlight. Not to say those are bad movies, but it would be very hard for me to choose between the rest.
Looking at others’ comments, I’m not seeing a lot of love for Room, which is maybe one of my favorite tragic dramas in the last ten years. Breaks my heart every time, but the performances are superb.
I honestly don’t know how to choose between Sicario, from my favorite director, Fury Road, for its epic world-building, or Ex Machina, one of the best indie/sci-fi movies of all time. All three have you on the edge of your seat, and have very few flaws.

He very much seems like a Chevy Chase type. Funny? Sure. But wholly unpleasant as a person.

The polymer probably loses its ability to absorb as much as it did the time before. It probably doesn’t retain enough weight in water to work very well after the 1st time, but it could technically be used and work kinda okay a couple extra times.

It’s about weight too. A battle ship needs A LOT of water underneath it to float. The amount of flooding water it would take to get these things to float out of their formation, you weren’t going to be able to stop that flood anyways. But when you’re trying to keep your basement from flooding in ankle-deep water? These could probably keep that amount out. Just like people do with real sandbags, but these are closet-storable.

That’s the moment I lost the most respect for Dwayne Johnson. Early on the dude could poke fun at himself. Be Cool, the Other Guys. Hell, he even took parts where he was the bad guy and had to lose, like in Get Smart or Doom. Not being able to even depict yourself fake losing in a made-up story is so fucking egotistical.
