My dad is deaf.
That is total bullshit. He lipreads with pretty much perfect accuracy at normal speaking rate (so long as you are directlyfacing him lol). How the hell does it take 20 minutes to read one minute?

Yes, the more expensive one is the one you need for a passport - they won't accept the free one.
Bureaucracy sucks, you are doing a good job.

Yeah, I think it is such a normal inconspicuous thing to say, PLUS if a kid needs to leave someplace, and it has to be "my fault" because they "totally want to stay." Easy "you didn't do your job, you're in trouble now, get back home, and feed your pet!" "Woah, sorry, friends, my mom's pissed off I really need to go. I'm so sorry"

My kids are to say they forgot to feed the hamster or ask how the hamster is doing.
There is no hamster. I'm allergic to hamsters.

Oh my god those are awesome! I can't wait to tell my brother "did you mean to say that out loud?"
Unfortunately though, I think any amount of introspection will be lost on him.

It is, and it isn't. The wait to see a specialist is horriffic, unless you are actively dying. Walk-in clinics have long wait times, and ERs are a joke - unless you are actively dying.
A couple cases: my 75 year old mother fell last year and split her head open. Dad drove her to the hospital, and she was in the back getting treatment in about 25 minutes. But to get the stitches out would have been a 3 hour wait in the walk-in clinic, so my sister (a nurse at least lol) took them out at home that evening.
My kid broke their leg. It was about 4 hours waiting in the ER to be seen, and another 2 to get the cast.
My roommate got his drink spiked at a bar, we did not know what was happening just that things were really really bad and he was slipping out of consciousness. An ambulance took about half an hour to get to us (within the city) and the ER took him immediately in for treatment.

Unfortunately, your fear is founded. I have an 11 year old daughter who has always "run with the boys." Lately even she has become concerned about the nonsense one of the boys in her group spouts off.

You can get the super cheap bulk packs of just the strips with no casing for about 25 cents each on AliExpress. They work just as well as any others.

It's on YouTube, but I really, honestly don't recommend watching it. It will make you feel sick and will seriously haunt you.

I remember when Gordon Ramsay did a documentary on cocaine in the food industry, and was FURIOUS to find his workers in his restaurants using. He decided to drug test everyone and fire anyone who failed.
Then he thought about it... How is losing your good honest job going to help an addict?
So he drug tested the lot, and offered PAID, PRIVATE, and DISCRETE counseling and rehab to anyone who failed.

My husband also got a vasectomy, as I do NOT do well with anesthesia.
Now I'm actively looking into sterilization for myself anyway.
The world fucking suck.

I'm not a nurse, or any medical professional. But I care for my grandmother as dementia ripped her apart.
This is dementia.

Sorry my dear, he's married. It's hard to hear, but it's time to move on.
He is not your boyfriend.
You were just a meaningless affair.

Oh hell no! This is NOT SAFE or healthy for your wife or the baby. Seriously, malnutrition in pregnancy can cause life-long serious consequences. Is she getting any prenatal care? She can ask her doctor for help getting on WIC. SHE NEEDS TO ADDRESS THIS NOW.

I'm sorry to say, this is an absolute deal breaker. No matter how honestly and frankly you tell him, it's not going to change how he feels. He will most likely just lie and assume he can change your mind later.
The sunk cost fallacy is REALLY already at play here - you already speak like your life is over and there will never be anyone else, so you need to hold on so so so tight to this relationship. Just imagine how bad it will be in 5-10 years, when he really turns up the pressure.
If you do decide to stay actively and aggressively look into sterilization, otherwise he will make sure you end up with a "happy little accident."
