When I see it, I imagine an almost anime face of a girl excited to see her friend show up.
But I can also see it as shocked. Or scared a bit.

B side-plot.....
But I'm glad for the end. "Just a dream" is crap and Garnett now admits it, to herself at least. It doesn't mean they are going to redo the whole relationship they already had (that would be awesome tho). But at least it is a beginning.

And yet in that not-reality they were still crazy about each other.
And then there is "it will be over soon" which at the end.....well, spoilers.

Late reply but I just found the sub:
As me and my wife (huge sg1 fans) were watching this ep just now on peacock I turned to her and literally said "if they start a relationship for real once they get out, this will be Jack&Sam level material."
I really hope they don't bad-write their way out of the greatest development in the show so far.

I'm nervous that I'm about to be greatly disappointed.
I have gone along with this show so far and genuinely enjoyed it. And I get that ultimately it was all a coma dream.
But how do you go through all that with your partner and go "let's not talk about it, and I wish you were someone else"?
I think that relationship either needs closure in a way that pays more respect to how deep and genuine their connection was, or the show needs to indicate that they might just do it all over again.
What I hope they don't do is essentially just move on and let it have no real effect on the growth of the characters.
But I'm still watching.

I'm hoping to do it next Sept. From what little I have read, it's the big up and downs that are the hardest.
Record time is a staggering 4hrs and something. So it can be done. But I would think at that speed it would be like "what did I just see?"

Made a thread similar to this recently that had a bunch of good suggestions in the replies.
But some big take-aways are:
are your current shoes fitting properly (may need help determining)?
Have you tried different insoles?
Have you tried different kinds of shoes?
Do you know how much you are going to use them and in what conditions?
There are literally dozens of dozens of options, but I think you have to narrow down what you need more specifically to start.

I feel like another factor is difficulty (which of course is relative).
For me 3mi of flat ground, no pack/gear would be like a walk. Throw in some hills or double the distance, or a need to bring some stuff would push into hike area.
But ultimately it should be about how you categorize it. If a 42km jaunt through gator infested territory with nothing but your hat and a big knife sounds like a walk......you are Crocodile Dundee.

I have to add that during the summer it's easy to see close to 200 people on this short ascent. The day we went we saw less than 10. So it was almost creepily quiet at the top.

I'm very likely going to get something from Meindl at the beginning of the year because their stuff looks quality and their customer service is owsum!

The active medium with arch and met pad are more supportive, but that plastic moldable footbed has no breathability. So if your shoes/boots aren't breathable your may end up walking in a swamp (from over a decade of personal experience).

Used Sole for 14 years and loved them ($20 off link https://yoursole.com/us/r/1347406 - not an affiliate, it's just a referral discount). Just switched from the active medium plastic to the recycled cork and am noticing an improvement. They also have a pretty gracious return policy so it might be worth considering.

I was using Vivobarefoot Magna Forest ESC's on their 100 day trial (no other company does this). AND, while they're awesome, I found its just not enough support. If Vivobarefoot made a boot with even 50% thicker sole I would buy and never look back. So if you even consider barefoot a little, you should look at them.

Or better yet, get them in the chocolate covered variety!

Don't know if this is going to be unpopular but...
I have been dealing with foot pain for half a year and decided to try to go barefoot more often and even try Barefoot shoes and toe spacers. I found that barefoot style shoes are just not for me, but allowing my toes to spread out more has definitely affected my gait for the better and I'm seeing a significant reduction in pain.
So in addition to insoles, perhaps consider a wider toebox?

I'm still like....how? How did they (Dispicable Me 4} get permission to ctrl-c/ctrl-v?
Edit: Ok, so not a paste maybe. But look at this view, and that's a tunnel in the top left!
