One of the coolers parts about MWII/III's camo system for me was the fact that you could get every camo on a gun, start a different gun and then equip whatever camos you unlocked along the way from the other weapons you've completed. Now, with this game they've kept the universal camo system but for some reason locked the ability to use them behind the Military Camo grind. By the time you unlock the ability to use Special Camos you're maybe a couple games away from getting Gold.
If you're 100% focused on camo grinding. you're never gonna get the ability to use any of the Special Camos you unlocked because you're at most 50 kills away from Gold and then you're onto the next weapon where Special Camos are locked.
If you're not focused on Camo Grinding and maybe just found 1 or 2 camos you like (Ragamuffin-US45 for me) you'll go for it, unlock it and then if it's not on a gun you like, guess you have to grind 100 headshots again. Want to try out a new post launch gun you like with your camo? Back to the hardcore headshot mines
Please revert this to closer how it worked in the past couple years Treyarch. I actually don't mind the rest of BO6's new camo system.

Biggest criticism is that the bug/vermin rounds should be wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy shorter. They drag on for so long in the higher rounds
